Gasmate Classic Radiant Heater EH631 (3200W)

Not as described – Does not heat as described. We bought 2x 3200w and they heat ok directly under them but do not radiate as described, our outdoor area is small no where near as big as it should be heating, I would stick to a gas heater.

Worst Heater on Market – Complicated to install, need professional electricians, which requires very large cabling for it to operate. Made the mistake of getting he one without remote even though they look exactly the same, which then had to get power switches put on them.. However the worst is the that they offer barely any heat. False advertising, these heaters do not work well at all. I read some reviews and should have believed what was written. Terrible product.

I wish I had of read these reviews before purchasing heater was a big waste of money – Heater does not heat the area like it says it does , still freezing at night even sitting underneath it extremely disappointed I brought 3200 watts My area isnt a big area definatly not even 6 metres I believe these heaters are faulty

Worse heater ever – We bought a 3200watt Gasmate Classic Radiant Heater for our alfresco dining area. It's closed in on three sides by the house, and has very little wind, and is completely covered. The heater is, according to the marketing, brochure, manual and website, is "Perfect for any alfresco and undercover outdoor area, this radiant heater is 3200 watts and will comfortably warm a large space of 6.4 x 4.5m at approximately 21-23 degrees."

The reality is that it heats the two chairs directly beneath it to about 5 degrees above ambient (a fact not mentioned anywhere, but stated as fact by Gasmate themselves). This would be fine in summer, but when we bought the heater we were having nights of 6 to 8 degrees and were hoping to be able to eat dinner outside in some comfort. But alas, we weren't.

Very disappointed, would not by from Gasmate again due to dodgy marketing, difficulty in dealing with their staff, a poor returns policy which doesn't align to the ACCC guidelines, and just an overall bad experience.
