the correct replacement key, a replacement set of bolts and replacement limit switch brackets. I am truly impressed at how concerned they were about my issues and they sent the parts to me by overnight courier. I got them by 11 am the next day and could complete the job. They didn't let me pay for the freight and parts and said they were happy to get me out of trouble. complicated, but Gary who manages/owns and actually is very hands on in that he does much of the work is always amiable and has a can do attitude when confronted with a request. If someone has a problem then tell Gary and he will fix it - it is not fair to complain if you don't even tell Gary of your problem. He maybe an excellent fitter/turner but he is not a mind reader!

Not at all happy with the quality – Tired of my aluminum pool gate slamming shut with its self closing springs, I decided to try to find one that closed softly like the drawers in the kitchen. aluminum of the gate as well as the larger screws used on the original hinges and I had to be careful not to tighten them too hard. I liked the hydraulic mechanism that slowed the gate as it was about to close and for a few months they worked well, but then I noticed the gate would not close completely, so thought that the spring needed to be tightened a notch. That was when the problems started. To adjust the tension you have to release a grub screw and turn a plastic part of the hinge. Unfortunately this plastic part seems to be PVC or similar and is very soft so that the grub screw digs right through the material rather than gripping its surface. It is tricky trying to put tension on the spring while trying to tighten a grub screw into the soft material, so much so that after a few attempts the plastic was destroyed and the grub screw threads in the plastic outer were stripped. An email to Gatesplus has been ignored and I have now fitted one of the original spring hinges to ensure the gate closes. I have one Polaris hinge which helps minimise the slamming, but would not recommend this product due to the unsuitable materials it is made from. If you have one and it needs adjusting, don't try it, it will end in tears.
