Complete scam!!! Made a booking for a rodent problem. They came out the next day, whole experience was very strange, guy didn’t seem to know what he was doing or have any experience with treating rodent problems they charged $600and a week later the problem was worse than before. I called to ask for a follow up and they directed me to a ‘complaint department’ (after speaking with many pest control businesses since a follow up is completely normal and in the price) they refused to follow up and the hung the phone up and wouldn’t answer when I tried to make a complaint. TERRIBLE SERVICE
Scam company under many aliases. ABN 30 658 448 198. I contacted Pest Control Chelsea for a rodent problem and wasp nest at my home in Seaford VIC after finding them through Google (“Pest Control Chelsea | Fast 24/7 Response | Emergency Experts”). Someone attended the same day, which initially seemed great, but the overall experience became extremely concerning.
The service was later invoiced under multiple different business names including 'General Pesty Solutions', 'Property Maintenance Services', 'After Solutions' and 'Dhamark Pty Ltd', with invoices and correspondence coming from generic Gmail accounts. I could not clearly establish who the actual business was, and staff openly stated they operated under “multiple business names” and “many websites.”
During the visit, the technician placed chemicals into the roof cavity and removed several internal light fittings using a metal tool to access the ceiling space, leaving visible damage to both the light fittings and surrounding plaster. Powder used for the wasp treatment above our front door was left all over the entrance, walls, windows and ground with no cleanup or advice provided regarding chemical safety around children or pets.
We were charged $1210, significantly higher than expected from the phone estimate and 6x the market rate, despite the second story of the home not being assessed or treated.
After returning from a holiday a few weeks later, the rat activity was not only still present but noticeably worse. When I contacted the company to arrange the promised follow-up visit, I was repeatedly redirected to a “complaints department” instead of being allowed to make a booking. I was transferred between multiple people, calls were circular and confusing, and nobody would clearly identify the business name when answering the phone. I was told they would not come back to my property another time as they had already come once and done "all they can do"
Concerned by the situation, I contacted another pest service for a second opinion. Their service was professional from start to finish — they completed a full property assessment, identified multiple untreated rodent entry points, explained the products being used, provided a written report and warranty, and resolved the issue properly for $185 - None of this service was provided by Pest Control Chelsea. They were shocked by the previous service and advised the products used appeared to be inferior consumer-grade products not consistent with normal industry standards.
When I formally raised concerns about the ineffective treatment, excessive pricing and damage caused to my property, the company became hostile and argumentative over the phone, repeatedly interrupted me, denied responsibility and then hung up on me. My later complaint was rejected on the basis that I had engaged another pest control company. They have responded saying "they waive any liability for any damages". I have requested follow up with multiple emails and this company has refused to respond or engage.
Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this business or any associated names. The multiple aliases, unclear company identity, poor workmanship and unprofessional handling of complaints raised serious concerns for me.

Very very bad service they did, it didn’t even kill an ant an my backyard is filled with spiders and it has only has been a week. This is extremely bad service and I request you to not at all call them or even look at this company. We even called them and they said they are not going to do anything, we are looking to take actions for this absurd behaviour show. Extremely bad of you as a company.
No information over the phone, e.g cost of call out, in fact I had to call back to find out. The tradesman who came out had very bad BO, & was extremely difficult to understand. I described the situation to him (I had seen 2 mice, coming from under our dishwasher, but mainly a very small mouse who appeared every night in our kitchen, was very cheeky & was not tempted by traps, poison or a sonic pest repellent). He did a little bit of investigation (mainly where I showed him the places I had seen him go). He then described their solution, which was 2 different types of poison in stations at a cost of $550 + GST. I said that was way too much, & he eventually quoted $450 + GST, & also suggested he would make no money out of this. I agreed only because the call out charge was $120, & I figured most solutions would be circa $300-$350. He then came back with about a dozen stations (3 large & 9 small, the larger ones available at Bunnings for $12.50 each), filled with pink rat sack (I already had loads of it), & another poison in a small plastic container which the mice hopefully chew through. I then got a very basic invoice & he then hand wrote a 6 month warranty on it!! I definitely feel like I have been scammed, but would like to inform others before they call General Pesty Solutions on 0466 695 051, ABN 30 658 448 198
