In my opinion they are still the best PC stereo speakers, even better, than next models (SP-HF2000, SP-HF3000...), they perform much better, than more expensive speakers of other brands (2.0, 2.1 Creative and even Logitech). The next step would be use of biamping, but that is more expensive solution.

Excellent – Great speakers for those hungry for great output sound quality. Booming bass and accented highs will leave you wanting more. You can also connect them to your mp3 player and listen to your favorite music without turning the computer on. I am truly amazed by the overall quality at this price range.
