Gentle Leader Easy Walking Harness

Broke within 3 months of use – I purchased this harness for my 8-month-old Labradoodle to stop him from pulling - works like a charm. However, after less than 3 months use the front portion of the leads webbing has come undone and snapped in half! Even with a pup not pulling anymore. Also concerning for a new pup parent as this could have happened mid-walk! I'm very disappointed in the quality of this product and will not be recommending or purchasing again.

FINALLY – I can finally walk my dog without the pulling and lunging at birds etc. I have tried several harnesses, collars, correcting collars and all to no avail. The collars seemed to be hurting my dog's neck and the conventional harness just encouraged him to pull. Gentle Leader Easy Walking Harness allows me to control the walk not my dog. Finally something that does as advertised.

Stopped pulling on lease but caused very bad chaffing – I bought this harness for my 9 month old Labrador as she was pulling on her lead. The harness worked great to stop the pulling but caused her severe chaffing. designed as the buckles have direct contact with the skin. Would not recommend. We’ve since thrown it out and found a really nice front attachment harness that has padding and no contact of buckles or hard plastic adjusters on her skin

The BEST harness for dogs that pull – This harness has a hook at the front that the lead attaches to and my dog has never pulled since I put it on her. The conventional harnesses with a hook on the back still made her pull and put pressure on her throat and she would cough/gag. it on the smallest settings. I cannot recommend this product enough. I hate seeing dogs with old round collars around their necks or a harness which still makes them pull. I only paid $21.50 for my harness. Purchased from My Pet Warehouse.
