If I could give less I would – I asked for a product price review, which they came up with one price at $229 and yet it is advertised everywhere for around $180, even at Bunnings. The lowest price I was able to source on line was $139. Will never used that site again.

Waste of Time!! Fake Deals! No Consumer support! – Used Getprice to search a deal for a Soundbar for home entertainment system. Found the model I wanted for 30% off $241, so I thought I found a bargain at $169 with Free Shipping. I clicked through to Billy Guyatts and then the price was back to $241 plus $23 shipping!!! I called Billy Guyatts to check and I was treated like an idiot but the sales person and she just kept repeating that it is from a third party site so it has nothing to do with them. I have never shopped at Billy Guyatts and it looks as though I never will. I sent an enquiry to Getprice and have no response from them, but when I checked the listing again the "Special Deal" had disappeared. I will not waste anymore time with either of these two complanies!

Getprice is a waste of money – After using Getprice for a while I discovered it is ripping customers off. The only click-throughs I got were when people visited Getprice.com.au and clicked on one of my products. Yet over half my spend was going on clicks from what they call "partner sites" - where my ads appeared on overseas websites as well as Australian websites that had nothing to do with what I was selling. And there was no way people clicking on my ad overseas would know they were actually clicking on an Australian website rather than one in their own country.

When I queried this with Getprice they were unhelpful and refused to justify why my ads were appearing on foreign websites. They said which "partners" they use is at their discretion. They could not even explain where a lot of the clicks were coming from - unusual web address overseas.

There are other shopping comparison sites out there which provide much better return on investment and actually want to engage with their customers openly and honestly.

Outlet for dodgy retailers, unreliable ratings – I bought components through a Sydney computer store listed on Getprice - they didn't deliver on time, didn’t answer their phone, didn’t respond to messages or emails, took two weeks to deliver (not 1-3 as advertised) and they ended up sending me a different model to the one I ordered! I tried to post a negative review on Getprice to warn others, but Getprice didn't put it on their website and only accepts positive reviews apparently, to support retailers not consumers. This internet retail umbrella is as reliable as the Mickey Mouse operators they represent.

Represents dodgy retailers, doesn't support consumers, wouldn't use them again
