A couple of weeks ago, I received the Grandfalls Retractable Pressure Washer G20. The delivery was prompt, and the packaging was secure and professional—off to a great start! I was genuinely excited to unbox it. After unpacking, I took my time to read through the manual a couple of times, watched a few videos online, and browsed through user reviews. All signs pointed to a high-performing product, and I was confident it would exceed my expectations. The next challenge? Mounting it.

Given the unit’s weight, I decided to mount it on a brick wall inside my garage. I had just enough space adjacent to the garage door, so I had to be meticulous with measurements—height, width, rotation clearance, and most importantly, ensuring the garage door could open and close without any interference.

Once I was confident with the placement, I moved on to installing the bracket. I followed the manual, used the included installation template, and began drilling with a 12mm bit. That’s when I hit a small snag: I hadn’t double-checked the supplied wall anchors and screws. Turns out, they were not compatible with the 12mm drill bit—the anchors were too loose. The correct drill size should’ve been 10mm for the provided hardware.

Lesson learned: No matter how reputable the brand or how glowing the reviews, doing your own prep work is essential.

10 month old pressure washer started smoking up, been emailing them for weeks and ignoring me. Terrible customer service, have to take it further now cause they won’t honour warranty.
