GMC LS750PJM

GMC LS750PJM – I bought this jig saw on eBay of all places. It was relatively cheap, but also had very little use. It is well made and in fact quite heavy, which aids in keeping it under control. This product has variable speed and also a red laser line that can be turned on and off. It also has a capacity to alter the angle of the base, but I did find this a little hard to alter, probably due to the fact that it had never been used at all. Blade attachment and detachment is simply and easy. My first cut with this tool was cutting out a perfect circle. I initially turned on the laser light but as I was turning to the left all the time, I turned it off as it was distracting. It did the job very well, with a clean neat cut, which only needed a brief sanding afterwards. The laser light is great to keep you focused when cutting a straight line, but I would recommend using the attachment that comes with the saw to run it along an edge to ensure accuracy. Overall very pleased with my $20.50 as new purchase. Not too much back up available for GMC in Aus. any more I am told, but at that price I really don't mind. Solid construction and heavy, which helps to stop it jumping around a lot. Laser light is great and 100% accurate. Cut was clean and straight.
