Terrible, it sticks to everything and ruins your baking. Just baked biscuits and can’t get the paper off!! So disappointing and a waste of money which is very hard in these days. It didn’t use to be like this so definitely a decline in product quality

I have been purchasing this product in bulk for years and have always been satisfied — until now. The last two boxes I purchased have caused nothing but frustration and failures in my kitchen. Even when sprayed with oil, the paper sticks to food,… Read more

creating absolute chaos during cooking and baking.

This is completely unacceptable for a product marketed as non-stick. It is misleading, and in my opinion, amounts to false advertising. A product that fails so badly at its stated purpose should be recalled and removed from your shelves.

Why has it changed?

Follow-up  · Shouldn't have to use oil spray and never had before, everything food i cooked stuck, no i have not changed my cooking.

Everything sticks to it. Absolute rubbish. Has been pretty good for a number of years but recently has ruined many meals. Unfortunately will be throwing out a couple of unused rolls.

Terrible product do not use! I used this baking paper in a fan forced grill to melt cheese on top of a Parmi and the paper CAUGHT FIRE! It wasn’t even that close to the element. Luckily I smelt the burning and put the flames out before it got going. I will never use again and will raise with Aldi too! I see the product is made in China ill try and get a message through to the manufacturer so dangerous!!

Goliath Baking Paper - Dramatic change and product fail – What has happened to the Goliath 90 metre by 30cm non-stick Baking Paper from Aldi? It would of been not long ago I would of given this product a 5 star rating. Yesterday I opened my new 90 metre roll to use on baked goods like I have done 100 times before. The result was less than disappointing it was disastrous . Not only did this non-stick… Read more

paper stick. The paper became baked into, and embedded in the meal I had prepared, ruining it. I have never experienced such a dramatic change and failure in a product. In short you just cannot use this product for its intended use. I will say, Aldi did not hesitate to give me a full refund which I was grateful. I am now about to try the Armada brand Baking Paper.

Hopefol for no PFAS – I must have bought a roll full of pfas as it doesn't stick.Whats worse poisoning your family or sticky paper,?PFAS r deadly to humans ,,l wish l could tell if my new roll is or isn't free of these chemicals.

Has the paper changed? – I have a very old roll of Goliath non-stick baking paper and have been very happy with it. I had another brand where I spent most of my time trying to get the paper off my baked goods! I agree the reviewer who said that the chemistry of the paper may have changed since I bought mine. What I don't understand is what was wrong with the baking paper from years ago which we used to use as tracing paper - no chemicals, just paper!!

Good non stick baking paper – I haven’t had any of my baked goods stick to the paper however, the box needs to be stronger so I can cut the paper to size. I don’t know why people are complains about this baking paper . It is definately non stick .

I have used this product for years with no problems ever, however now I feel like I’m feeding my guests a side of baking paper stuck to the bottom of their food, I made 3 dozen sausage rolls for a family function, they all stuck. The whole point of baking paper is to make baking easier, what happened? 100% not the same product I used to use

Absolute Crap!! It sticks to everything. It also embeds itself onto the food that it is in contact with. Aldi should remove this product from sale. It is not fit for purpose.

Disaster – Absolutely the worst on the market. Everything I've cooked with it sticks to it like glue. Avoid at all costs. There simply couldn't be a worse baking paper on the market today.

Change in paper chemistry due to PFAS? – I have an old roll that performs OK. I suspect the recent change in reviews is due to a change in the chemistry of the paper.. PFAS has become a hot topic, and more than likely was used in the old paper to give it that non stick ability?.. the change in chemistry to remove PFAS, means the new paper is not as effective- but safer health wise.?..

Not worth using – I can't believe how BAD this product is. EVERYTHING sticks to it. Nothing cooks underneath. On the second attempt of using the baking paper, I sprayed the baking paper with cooking spray and everything still stuck! Very poor quality and very disappointing.

Poor quality Goliath 90 metre x 30cm Baking Paper, everything sticks!! – I have used Goliath 90 metre x 30 cm for years and it was fine but the latest pack is simply only sandwich wrap, extremely poor quality, everything sticks and it doesn't have the usual shiny surface and unfortunately I have another 2 packs as I like to keep some on hand due to the irregular supply common with Aldi's.

Massive fail – Useful for nothing more than tracing paper as EVERYTHING sticks. Cake, slices, bread, veges, pavlova (massive fail) biscuits and meat products all stick like glue. Would strongly recommend avoiding it

Sticks to Everything – Used to be good, last 90m roll is terrible everything sticks to it, ALDI need to recall the product after all the reviews on here. It has to be totally faulty and not fit for purpose. Obviously quality control has gone out the window. Purchased quite a while ago but will return for refund despite no receipt.

Update ALDI refunded my money without any receipt. he staff member stated he had experienced the same thing with the paper.

Baking Paper Burning – Wow this Goliath Baking Paper was burning in the Oven. I could smell something burning and opened the oven to find the burnt paper. Taking back tomorrow for a refund.

Not the same baking paper it use to be! – This baking paper was my number one choice every time when shopping. However, I will be changing to another brand as all my baking has been sticking to the paper lately. This is frustrating! Definitely better off paying the extra money for a product to do its job. This is so disappointing because it use to be our first choice for baking.

Carton/ dispenser collapses, so a complete fail – My issue is not with the Goliath baking paper itself but the cardboard packaging/ dispenser it comes in. As a consistent user of this product, I find the carton fails every time with one or both ends collapsing as they aren't bound by glue or sufficiently stable/ strong end tabs to withstand even the most gentle of holding to tear off a piece of… Read more

paper. This occurs with each new purchase usually within the first or second use, so it's not a on off. See pic below. This is a very new carton. ALDI (the owner of Goliath) must know about this but are clearly taking cost cutting (rather than satisfactory paper cutting) to the extreme at the expense of a reasonable customer experience. ALDI, you can and should do better. I'd welcome your response.

The carton construction has since notably improved, so thank you ALDI.

ALDIs baking paper – I don’t have any issues with the paper, I can reuse it and it doesn’t burn like other people are saying. I bake bread and use the baking paper so that the bread doesn’t stick. I also use it when sheet pan bake, and no problems with that either. Plus the oven is on the highest setting when I bake for half an hour then gets turned down to 200 for another 20 minutes.

Everything sticks even after pre-spraying with oil – It was a fantastic product, then I got a new roll and everything sticks, I mean everything. Things stick even after spraying the surface with oil before use, including food that already contains oil like frozen chips! I went back to just using the tray since the baking paper was totally useless. It a shame because it was a good product.

Awful – Seriously the worst baking paper I have ever purchased. Everything sticks to it and ruins your entire bake. A whole large tray of seedy crackers binned!!! This is just one example. Also, any oils in the bake soak right through it. Giving this product 1 star is being way too generous. Never again!

Goliath 90 m roll Non Stick Baking paper – Just opened new 90metre roll of Goliath non stick baking paper. Do not buy Goliath Non-Stick baking paper – 2 years ago Goliath Non-Stick Baking Paper did not live up to the standards it states. I bought another 30m of Goliath baking non stick paper again, 2023 .see attached fruit cake adhering to paper. 3 yearsPreviously I had no problems with this product. I have found Coles non stick a lot better in my baking.

Buy this at your peril – If I could give zero I would. It fails on the very task it was made for, that is, to be non-stick. Apparently I need to have 30 words in my review so here are some more.

Goliath baking paper 90 meters – DOES NOT WORK. Do not buy as everything sticks to it. Waste of money and time. You are better off oiling your tray and putting the food directly on it. False promises on the packaging.

Sticks to everything! Absolute garbage – It sticks to everything. My MIL spent ages peeling it off the cannelloni she made and the biscuits and even chicken in the air fryer. She's fuming and even wrote a complaint letter to Aldi.
