DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! I have placed two order totaling over $1200... the first one was placed over two weeks ago and one a week ago, still haven' received a single card. Their prices are a joke and the fact it takes them a week to pick and send a few cards is laughable, use MTGmate or cardhub or any I mean any other card source in Australia, Ebay is preferable to these jokers...
If you want your singles in a timely manner go to mtg mate. They will have your order gathered and shipped out within the day. Majority of the time it takes them 5-7 days to find the cards and another week to arrive. Once dispatched 90% of the time half your order is refunded because the item is not actually available. Online Customer service is non existent even though $$$$ have been spent. Quality of product is premium though
Contacted about 2 different lots of products they advertised with different pictures from what was delivered were 2 completely different things. Do no buy from them. They are scammers.

Sent a damaged, dented card listed as Near Mint. I have timestamped photos showing the deep structural dents visible inside their original shipping sleeves/toploader upon arrival. Completely ignored my proof, blamed me for the damage to dodge their grading mistake, and refused any remedy. Terrible customer service and horrific grading oversight, especially to a loyal customer who has spent thousands with them over the years. Avoid.
Shipped me a damaged product. The external postage box was undamaged. Offloading damaged stock to online buyers.
BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! – The best customer service I have received in a very long time! Keenan was great to deal with and was able to provide the product just without the box. The issue was resolved quickly and felt look after. Keep up the excellent work!
Great, Satisfying and Helpful but not perfect – Good service, but there was a shorting of one of the cards I ordered. Luckily service was very helpful and quickly replaced the card I had ordered. Would order from goodgames again! Show reply

Ronstan was an incredibly helpful customer service rep. They helped resolve my issue in no time at all, on a Sunday, and explained so much to me. I believe Ronstan is a credit to the team and should be celebrated.
First time purchasing from good games, I’m highly impressed with the quality of packaging to keep my premium poster collection safe in transit. The postage time with also good considering I live out in the wheatbelt. Will purchase again thank you so much good games.
I have made a few purchases with Good Games and each one has been promptly fulfilled with the overall experience being very smooth with no issues whatsoever. I have also found their pricing to be very competative and have taken advantage of a number of bargins. No hesitation in recommending them. Show reply

Google autofilled an old address for my order when I checked out. I emailed the provided shop support email in the afternoon. The following morning the package was delivered to the wrong address and my email was ignored. The support person may as well have been AI, no real apology or sincerity.
- Placed an order 7:44am. - Sent an email response to order confirmation at 7:49am requesting the order be cancelled. - Followed this up at 11:17am as I'd received no response. - No response so followed up again today (3 days later) to be told that "they can no longer cancel the order as it has already been processed". No avenue to return or… Read more
assist was suggested. Perhaps if someone had acknowledged my initial email there would have been an opportunity to cancel the order before it had been processed?
As far as I can tell the order itself still hasn't actually been shipped.
I've been to one of the physical stores and it was OK. This is the first and last purchase I'll ever make online though.

I placed my order almost three weeks ago, and it still hasn’t even been shipped. I’ve already contacted the customer service by email and also used the AI chat, but I haven’t received any response at all. This store came highly recommended, so this has been extremely disappointing. I’ve ordered from many online stores before, but I’ve never experienced such a long delay combined with a complete lack of communication.

I ordered a copy of Doctor Doom (Unrivalled) through Good Games' website. After placing the order, I didn't hear anything for three weeks. I assumed they were simply preparing my order, but eventually I sent an email asking for an update. When they finally responded, I was told they didn't actually have the card in stock. By that point, the price… Read more
of the card on their website had increased from $65 to $212—a 328% increase since I placed my order.
I understand that stock discrepancies can happen and that singles are often sourced from the secondary market, where prices fluctuate. However, what I find unreasonable is the complete lack of communication. If they knew they couldn't fulfil my order due to stock issues or rising market prices, they should have contacted me as soon as possible instead of waiting until I reached out.
I was offered a refund, which I appreciate, but I don't understand why that only happened after I contacted them. The issue isn't just that they couldn't fulfil the order—it's that they failed to communicate the problem for weeks.
I would give them zero stars if I could. I've been waiting for an order. They emailed to say they accidentally sent me an email ot was shipped but it wasn't. Since then no further update. I've emailed, sat on the AI chatbot for hours, sent Facebook and instagram messages, called their franchises as head office doesn't give a phone number. Nothing. No response. No delivery. No refund. Just dead air and a hole in my wallet.
I've had four experiences with Good Games and only one of them good. 1. Getting back into boardgames, I visited the local shop. The staff there were aggressively pushing odd titles on me as suggestions, which I would look up and see were universally reviled as bad games and were selling elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. In retrospect and… Read more
given I've been gaming for a long while now, they were trying to offload difficult-to-sell stock on someone who they thought didn't know better.
2. Visited the same shop during an anniversary sale. There were no signs about the sale. The staff again aggressively pushed random titles on me and this time I fell for the suggestion that Dead of Winter was an amazing game at two players. No. It is godawful at that count. The staff forgot to apply the sale price and I had to ask, after which they said Oops, let me fix that. I then quietly paid a price that seemed way too high. When I got home I checked the receipt and the guy outright lied about applying the sale price. I paid full price during a sale for a game that sells for a fraction of what I paid elsewhere. I haven't gone back to that location again.
3. Ordered a couple games online last year and they delivered within a week. Easy peasy. Good experience.
4. Ordered some games during a sale in early May with a 3 to 5 day shipping estimate. It's been nearly two months and they're still listed as preparing to ship. Their website has had some signs of moving warehouses and shipping delays, but those went up after I ordered and haven't been there for weeks. I've emailed them multiple times and nothing. They will not respond.
Good Games stinks.

I have not received my online order and have not gotten a response from customer service after numerous attempts to contact them. Caution… do not buy. They offload damaged or broken items. I got a game with a hole in the bottom of the box so that the pieces would fall out. The customer service team provided me with a label, but then said I need to get another box and packaging to send it back. They then gave me a messy $8 refund, which was %15 of the purchase price.… Read more
Basically, you get a 15% discount on damaged products you didn't know you bought. This is all after their customer service team takes a week to get back to you. Frustratingly, I am not the only one to have this happen.
Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. If i could give zero i would. I was browsing the (very much reduced) stock of games to find a particular game. Given there only about 20% of the games compared to a few years ago it didn’t take long to not find it. I went to the counter where there was two staff. One was talking to what i… Read more
thought were customers, turned out they were friends and just chatting, the other was sorting cards on the counter so i approached him, where i was simply ignored, not even an acknowledgment or “I’ll be with you in a minute”. I waited for a few minutes in front of card sorter, obviously wanting service, in the meantime he other guy finished his conversation and walked past me a couple of times while I’m still waiting, without even “hey are you being helped?” In the end, i just walked out and went to toyworld, super helpful but didn’t have it. So I went to Area 52. Excellent range of stock, super friendly and helpful. Good games, your business is your customers. Every person, not just your friends or game players, who walks in the door intends to buy something from you. I ended up buying more games than I intended at Area 52! Pick your game up or you wont have any (This review was also posted to Google reviews)

I’d rate Ronstan 5 out of 5 . He was terrific , friendly , efficient, easy to understand on the phone and he gave great instructions on what to do .. and he has also given me the Good Games address in Newcastle for your store which I didn’t know existed . So I’m stoked for that and to visit there soon .. Thank u for all your help with resolving the issues really promptly and proficienctly.
Absolutely awful experience. I ordered 2 games from them on Amazon and 3 games from their website directly. They mixed the order up and delivered me 1 game from Amazon and 2 from the website. sent) and the other I still have no idea if it's on its way as it has been about 3 weeks and they still haven't replied to an email I sent days ago. At every stage their communication has been abysmal. At one stage they even asked me to send a game back to them, even though I had ordered and paid for it! Do not buy from them.

Head office has decided that for TCG prices they will increase the prices beyond a joke, their reasoning is "to stop scalpers of product" how ever they are worse than the scalpers when it comes to product. A couple of weeks ago I was told prices would be $400 (zing and eb games are $342) which was already expensive, I went in this week to pay for… Read more
my boxes and they decided the price would now be $479. Absolute joke, do not shop here for TCG product. Do your research and shop else where and do pre orders are companies that are not out here to rip you off.
Singles and Sealed prices for Pokemon are ridiculous and they offer rock bottom prices for trade in - the staff in Canberra are great but the prices are insane. Def don’t recommend them for any type Of trade in or Singles purchase cheaper on eBay.
Second time ordering and the delivery time shouldn't be put on there. Can't say if ordered by 12 it would be sent that day when both orders have taken 3 to be sent
Honestly cannot say enough positive things about Good Games. I have bought many games from them and will continue to do so as their customer service is always amazing, they offer pretty competitive prices and I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with them. the time to remember your name and what games you are into if you are a regular so they can make recommendations and suggestions.
Edit: leaving my original review above for posterity however I will likely no longer be shopping at good games. Over the last few years their prices have become somewhat ridiculous, often charging around 30% more than other stores on the exact same product. TCG sealed products are basically at scalper level prices or even worse. Just doesnt make sense to shop there when I can almost always get products cheaper elsewhere.
Buy from other local game stores. The greediest company ever (worse than even the greedy online only stores). Over inflated prices - absolutely gutted the markup you put on MTG final fantasy prices compared to other local stores like not like 5%-10% markup, like 50%. It was cheaper to buy from scalpers on ebay than you, figure that. Every… Read more
interaction I have had to try and sell singles back to your Spring Hill store has been negative and simply rude. One specific interaction two of you looked through my cards, the first guy just dull and blunt said no no no through all of them, the second guy did too but actually picked a couple out theyd take. Buy your singles from MTGMate or trademagic, they'll be half the price.
Generally the service is fine, but don’t bother paying for express delivery. I made an order last Monday and they waited until Thursday to post it. It arrived the following Tuesday, via “express” post.
On arriving at Good Games Canberra City and requesting to enter a Magic the Gathering (MTG) Pre-Release as a "guest" which is allowed under WOTC's terms and conditions for entry into a WOTC Brandes Prerelease, I was told "No, we can't do that". I was then informed, by way of justification, "We don't enter people as guests because we're a WPN… Read more
(Wizards Play Network) Store."
Ok hearing this, I replied, "Given you're a WPN store, doesn't that mean you apply Wizards of the Coast (WOTC) mandated WPN rules of entry to Pre Release Events?"
I was then told, "No, we've never let people enter as guests before. You have to have a Wizards Online Account to register OR sign up for one now."
Please note, the above was factually incorrect and actually the opposite of WOTC conditions of entry to a WOTC Branded Pre Release event.
....Pretty strange too that I was unable to be entered as a guest considering this store had been able to do it at every single event prior to that one AND it's a WOTC policy - so at the time I even said -
"A change in company/store policy then? Ok, I think there are only 2 ways forward. May I either have a refund for the cost of entry, or, may I be entered as a guest? I appreciate that you want me to sign up for a Wizards Online Account and I acknowledge that you've offered that, but I choose to register as a guest regardless. Please progress whichever one you choose as the tournament official."
I was then told "I don't appreciate your attitude.....
....but I'll enter you as a guest. My manager will be hearing of this!"
Quite the turn around, 1 minute earlier the store lacked the capacity to enter people as guests at all. The technology simply didn't exist. Now I was told the store was doing me a favour by allowing me to enter this way.
Importantly, I had also not raised my voice, told the staff member they themselves were wrong, sworn, or been aggressive.
After this experience, I wrote to WOTC Asia Pacific and they indeed confirmed, "You can absolutely enter as a guest. Which store tried to deny you entry again? I confirmed it was Good Games Canberra City."
Steer clear of this store. I've been attending for 18 years (I even worked at the location so the chances I went in there ranting and raving at current staff is pretty low) but the way I was simply lied to at the counter was shocking. I haven't set foot in the store since.
Fantastic customer service – Initially I had some trouble with an online order, but I received top-notch, fast customer service! Received my order and ready to play! Thanks, legends! Show reply
