Poor customer service for returns – Purchased a badly fitting rug from Goodwood's Saddlery Online and I failed to check it within the return time, so when I did and realised it was poorly sized and sewn I contacted them. I was told I should have bought a larger size and that they had never had a problem with these rugs. I told them My horse always wore this size and all my other rugs from them fitted her fine. They offered to sell me a cheaper rug and they would cover postage. This did not suit me as I didn't want to buy another one. I have had to sew a velcro piece to the front of the rug to keep it closed as the buckles are too low, and sew the surcingles up 14inches as they were too long on the smallest adjustment. The rug is too small at the back and too big at the front. Beware what you buy and try it on as soon as you get it or you'll not get a refund or replacement. I have shopped with them for 25 years and had great service when buying things but that changed when I had an issue with this rug.
