I purchased 3 books today. They were obviously not the original author's copies that I was familiar with. Google play refused my refund at this stage. I've resubmitted as it may be an AI issue but if Google Play are now supporting scammers due to using AI tech I'm out of here.

A yearly subscription refund approved by dating site Zookst acknowledged by Google pay as a refund back to my PayPal account has been held up by Google pay for several weeks now. be paid back into my PayPal account within 3 days. When I rang them they kept me on the phone for an hour while they investigated the matter an obvious mistake by Google pay. They created a case id 3-7556000039161 for my complaint but no record of the details of my case ,what I was asking for nothing in writing on their website or even an email or txt message to me. Limiting their written records,communication to the customer of customer problems with their service is an obvious business design feature for them.

The dating site Zookst was quick to provide proof of the refund being made to google pay. They were great in their emails to me. In the end all google pay had to say was they needed more time to investigate their mistake without any timeframe as to when they would get back to me with an explanation or when my refund may be given back to me. I put in a dispute case with PayPal and Google pay are not responding there either. PayPal will approve my money back in a week's time if Google pay does not respond. They certainly haven't responded so far to anything or any evidence I have provided in the PayPal case. PayPal is waiting for them to respond and they aren't doing that to anything I guess Google pay will not ring txt or email me back either explaining their mistake and how it happened in the same way they haven't put anything in writing about my case. Dealing with Google pays own mistakes isn't google pays forte. They have clever systems in place it to protect themselves against being accountable to their customers and protect their mistakes in every way they can. They won't give a phone number You cant get an email address even to send them proof of things in the form of pdf files. Google pay reps who have limited training and don't have the VC tools to deal with anything such as responding to PayPal cases usual stop texting or fob me off to Google play reps who do try their best within the bad system their bosses expect them to confine themselves to company system and rules that don't favour customers. Now I find out they allow themselves 45 days from the complaint date to see if the refund issue resolved itself and then I have to contact them again if I don't get the refund any rely on them again to investigate over an unknown time period. Are they kidding. Raised case numbers don't mean much if they don't report back to me on the progress of those cases to customers or try to resolve them to the customers satisfaction. When a formal complaint they put a case number to it and then ignore it and not communicate about the complaints to the customer . I haven't had a response to my complaints Don't use their service to pay for things because if they make a mistake it takes many hours cc and days, weeks and months of your time in dealing with them if you can get though and if you are lucky you might get your money. Lucky I had PayPal to protect me from these google pay purchases. Don't trust Google Pay

Never buy their gift cards. Purchased for a gift for Easter instead of chocolate and it's just been a nightmare to redeem. One week later and they still won't clear it even with my receipt.

l cancelled my RSVP subscription and yet was charge twice more times and my card was cancelled by the bank teller and issued a new card. l proceeded to go through visa disputes to have the money returned to me and this happened. this. when l unsubscribed l was given an email confirmation provided to RSVP when l got my refund via visa disputes, was refunded and now they recharge my new card. it's wrong. no conscience and scamming. it's was only 63.99 x 2 mths but that's a lot of money for me to lose. l just don't understand the horrible things people do to disadvantaged people and get away with it.

utilise the gift card I had already added to my account. Also, be aware that Google takes payment for the Google One renewal before the billing date that is visible in your account.

Google play and britbox things I didn't know – Becareful of Google play they take payment for britbox and will refuse to refund even when britbox has ok it they are two separate companies with very different business practices britbox states u can cancel at any time and recieve a refund but they don't tell u they take payment through a third party that does not refund so becareful.so I've borrowed from the library at least that doesn't cost me money and it's great for the community

Unable to redeem gift card – Recieved 4 Google Play Cards for Christmas gifts. None redeemable. Contacted google sent photos as requested on all 4. Received 4 AI responses stating account or card not on our system. Followed up and have not heard anything back. Poor communication and on basis of purchase and no product received a crappy experience. Never again.

Google Play Gift Cards are a nightmare and a scam. Do not buy them – Bought two gift cards in USA. Unable to redem them. THey don't state anything that they won't work in Australia. No way to get a refund. No support. Endless loops of trying to redeem them.

Recent update is difficult to navigate – The recent update to Google Play Store has made it cumbersome & difficult to find new apps. The category list in games that was originally at the top made it so much easier to explore but is now many pages down & being flooded with images it is hard to scroll thru them. The layout floods the screen with images, you have to scroll through many… Read more

AUSTRALIA TERMS OF SERVICE. You only can buy with this type of credit Apps, Books, Movies, Newsstand, subscriptions or you have to include you credit card which than is charged for the full amount which still leaves me with a credit of $50 for my original Google Play card purchase. In order to use my money I have now to rent a movie or by an APP etc. In my case the service is not useful at all and I feel trapped. Silly me

Decent music streaming service – The Google music algorithm for its radio feature is definitely superior to Spotify. The music quality is 320kbps by default under premium accounts at least. Accessible on most platforms including web, which makes it very convenient. Overall pretty happy with Google Play Music.
