Gorilla Glue

Unlike everyone else slamming this product, I've had great results from this glue. Yes its thick. Yes its definitely hard to apply on finer/smaller items. Yes it usually takes 24 hours to cure fully. However, each and every time ive used it, its done the job bloody well. Plastic on plastic. Plastic to metal. Wood to wood. Its awesome. Im forever… Read more
glueing my kids toys back together and other bits around the house. Just dont expect it to hold firm for the first couple of hours. Its not fast set super glue. Use clamps or pegs or whatever you need for the initial hold until it sets.
I would rather give zero stars cause this product is straight trash. And where is belongs is in the trash. If you have to repair something 3D printed use Shoe Goo, works way better.
Follow-up · I have repaired 3 d printed things, wood items.lotsof things and followed the directions. it never holds. Like it all you want.it is trash
What an utterly complete waste of money. Was purchased to repair numerous items. Plastic, ceramic and concrete and hours later it still has not bonded. Could not give it any lower than one star. Tempted to go to Bunnings and ask for a refund. Heap of absolute [Content Removed] Ended up using $2 superglue instead
This is quite simply a terrible product . Firstly , it expands , so it oozes out the side of ehat ever job your doing AND it doesn't stick ????. Completely useless , and the most expensive.
Quite disappointed with this. Given the claims and more expensive price I was enthusiastic that I'd finally found a glue that worked. Attempted to bond various plastics, followed label advice each time, a day's curing later and they easily pulled apart. I'll stick (no pun intended) to Araldite in future.
Simple plastic cup handle glued, set up for 6 days before use. Fell off after one use, glue still wet. No trust in you! – I am not a chemist but when children school glue works better than a marketed product like this, you obviously have some issues. Go back to the lab and try better to live up to the millions you're spending on Mass Media marketing for a product that currently falls flat.
Gorilla boo – Will not hold two pieces of wood together. The glue expands when it dries pulling the pieces apart. Not a good adhesive. I tried it on ceramic, metal , wood , plastic. Didn't hold very long. Always came apart. Now the gorilla glue construction adhesive is great. I glued 2 1x6 boards together at 45. That's the clear glue. But it's $15.00. The 8oz.… Read more
Glue says you dampen one side with water. It worked good but the glue expands out of the joints. Now I got to go back and sand off the dried glue that spills out. The best one is the clear construction glue. Holds good and doesn't spill out when it dries.
Worst glue ever purchased – This product is a complete fail. It serves no function other than to leave a sticky residue. I tried multiple surfaces. Great news is that the sticky residue can be cleaned easily!
Gorilla Glue is Crap and does not glue – Gorilla glue is crap.. Does not work. I needed to glue Santa boot back on to 12 high ceramic santa.. Put the glue on his leg and the boot. Held it together with my hands very still it for 30 MINUTES.. NO STICK!!!!! Did not work! Bringing it back to Home depot
Garbage Gorilla glue – Absolute garbage, stick it in the bin don't worry it certainly won't stick to it. Gave it plenty of time to cure properly and as soon as I barely even look at it it falls apart and absolute waste of money.
Don't spend your money on this product – Waste of money, used once and was dried solid the next time I wanted to use it. 5 tines I bought this junk, Never again, I Purchased Lepages Epoxy glue , used it once, put it away, 12 years later that's right 12 years later, I thought to myself, is this stuff still good,? I was in doubt, However to my amazement, the glue was still as fresh … Read more
as the day I bought it, also to my surprise, after applying the glue it was still a quality repair, and excellent bond, not bad for 12 year old glue, so if you want real value for your money, I can guarantee this produc t Will not disappoint. Remember the name. Lepage , epoxy glue. Great Quality product.
False advertising.!! – Worst product ever. Tried to glue 2 pieces of plastic together , did absolutely nothing . Waited at least a half hour nothing. Do not waste your money. False advertising if they shows it will fix a broken gate .
Shelf life of Gorilla Glue – The liquid product is not designed to last, because the cap does not seal properly, I was told a 3 yr shelf life is the most you can expect, but for the money and infrequent use Gorrila glue does not stand by its name.
Worst product ever – Dosen't dry In time stated and dosen't hold on plastic. 2 times buying your product and not happy with either of them. There is much better products out there and your company says that there's is good as well.
waste of time and money – Have no idea how they got a good reputation for their glues as I have never had any luck with their glues. Tried this one on car rear window plastic as recommended by Bunnings assistant, came apart as if never glued, tried it on various other items, failed every time. Did work in its own bottle, went hard, was about to toss it anyway. Have now discovered "oily glue". Works on everything like a weld, will do a seperate review on it.
Would have been better to use chewing gum – I was mending a part on a wooden drawer with the clear Gorilla Glue….Absolutely a waste of £6 i should have just got normal super glue .I will not be buying any Gorilla products again.
This glue is absolute rubbish – Purchased based on claims. Tried gluing hard plastic bases together. Failed miserably. Low-grade weak example of expanding foam. This product is rubbish and a waste of money! I feel cheated.
Works as claimed – Used it a few times for different projects, both interior and exterior, it works as claimed. For health concerns, you need to use it in a well-ventilated place or outdoor.
"SUSPECTED OF CAUSING CANCER" – I was horrified to read the small print "suspected of causing cancer" after purchasing the original Gorilla Glue, (59ml in orange packaging) as well as many other allergic symptoms. Why are we selling this glue in Australia? It may bond items well, but at what cost?
