Gravely XL Zero Turn Mower

After owning a Toro 50” from new, I started looking at other machines when it was time to replace the old one. I ended up buying a new Gravely 52” XT and had the mulching kit fitted. All I can say is it is a far superior machine, quieter, faster and more comfortable. I have arthritis in my wrists and the fully adjustable control handles were a game changer! Very happy with my purchase.
We have owned our Gravley ZTX 52. Dose a fantastic job of cutting grass wet or dry. Owned for approximately 2 years. Only warranty issue was the mower deck replaced under warranty.
Runs great mows great – Problem is I've had drive belt come off 3 times now ,after mowing, mower off, idle down and park. Go to use it . belt is off.not even 6mts.old!! Yall have a problem with these doing this? Finally got belt problem fixed bolt loose.
Gravely won’t Honor warranty items – We own a lawn care business and have purchased multiple gravelys over the years. They used to be good machines but the last 2 we have purchased have had constant issues that gravely would not fix . We have had issues with the deck most recently and the newer models don’t cut as well as the old models. I don’t know whose over the… Read more
manufacturing now but they are terrible and most importantly gravely doesn’t stand behind their product and fix issues
Great mower - poor support in Australia – I mow about 10 acres regularly, the Gravely has proved to be the best mower Ihave owned in last 20 years. Easy to drive, cuts extremely well, my only issue has been supply of the few parts I needed, for example it took 2 months to get a mulch kit, it was the wrong one, 6 months later I am still waiting for the mulch kit. The standard mower has proved to be very reliable and robust.
Best thing I ever did – Best mower I have owned or seen Made in the USA and I would buy two if the wife would let me Goes great ,cuts first time ,loads of power You won't regret it
I love my Gravely ride on mower – We moved to a large property and needed a ride on mower immediately. After a day at the Wandin Field Days (I can recommend them as well) we settled for the Gravely XL zero turn. It has been a very reliable machine, starts easily and has not missed a beat. The first job it had was to cut a paddock of over grown grass which it did. We regularly… Read more
need to mow about 5 acres so have clocked up 25 hours in about 3 months.
We also got a little trailer which has been great to carry stuff around in.
The first service was a bit expensive so I'll be looking for alternatives in the future.
