Gucci Ace Sneakers

Fashionable yet simple – High value but wort it. Favourite purchase so far for my love. Thank you for this classy sneakers comfortable to wear.

Leather not the best – The leather that it is used on this shoe is very soft, not ideal when you want to soak a little in Vanish or Nepisan to keep it nice and white. I did that and damaged my shoes.

Amazing styles but no – Don’t get me wrong, I love Gucci. They’re one of the worlds leading designer brands and one that’s been highly well known for decades. I had my eye on a pair of Gucci aces for a while (ya know, the classic ones with the gold bumblebee on the sides) so I had a try on at Gucci’s store at Chadstone shopping centre on my trip to Melbourne. Before even trying on the shoe I noticed the inner base of the shoe, it had me questioning... where’s the support? Where’s the cushion? Did they forget to put a soul in? However, I held my judgement and tried them on. Was I pleasantly surprised?... uhh no. Ok they look great, but for $850 I want more than just the looks (in a sneaker anyway), I’d expect comfort and support, even if I were just wearing them to a casual night out, and they just weren’t doing it for me. A family gathering the next day had me seeing one of my cousins with a pair of Gucci aces (the over $1000 ones). I stated that I was checking them out earlier but they didn’t seem all that comfortable... if anything painful, she simply replied “they’re hell haha, pretty but you can’t walk in them very long”. So glad I didn’t give into looks haha. Overall I’d say they’re not worth the price tag and don’t see a major difference between these and pair of Lacoste’s or adidas sneakers, which would offer more comfort as well as the inclosed leather shoe feel and sleek look. If you are considering purchasing please just be aware, they’re not at all comfortable and if you are someone that requires comfort, id recommend reconsidering.
