I have had the same experience as a lot of the other reviews I have been a builder for 45 years laid lots of flooring . Purchased this product for a friend's floor and laid the product exactly as per specs a year and a half later the floor started fulling apart ,delaminating and all covered in a diamond pattern, Joints snapping at ends , and the… Read more
top of planks pulling off. QEP visited site said he had never seen a floor like it and had no answer but would report back. Qeps answer was poor installation which is so far from right installation is perfect. The floor has not bowed up anywhere its just falling apart everywhere. Bunnings are also not interested in putting this right actually they offered 300 dollars which was a insult. Do yourself a favor do not buy flooring from Bunnings they will not stand by there products . And certainly do not buy this product save yourself some Greif
Bought this product from Bunnings in 2021. I am an experienced tradie & laid 30 sq m as per instructions on QEP foil& foam underlay. After a year some joins started to open up. After two years more joints opening & splitting on sides. After 3 years surface started to delaminate revealing a diamond pattern beneath. Do not buy this product. Show details
I found the Hanwood laminate flooring easy to lay never found any crooked boards as others have had. I think it helps if one has a woodworking background at least . I Have put down solid timber floors direct stick and laminate is so much quicker and easier.People need to bite the bullet and hire a professional to lay their floors. Show details
Hanwood should be held accountable for this absolutely garbage flooring. Within 12 months of having this flooring installed, we noticed the finish cracking and lifting, leaving unsightly black strips. We've had tongues of some planks snap and lift, leaving a lip that catches on everything. DO NOT PURCHASE this flooring. Ours has been down for 5 years now and we're at the stage where it already needs to be replaced. Show details

Scratches easily Capella oak from bunnings ,hybrid flooring ,suppose to be scratch resistant and waterproof, we had our floor down less than a week and could see scratches in our walk ways we contacted bunnings that week and were told we would receive a full refund, we were then told to send pictures and a fill in their report , after months on… Read more
not hearing back from QEP through bunnings , I again sent email to see what was going on after 2 years of being ignored I went into bunnings and complained yet again to the manager of flooring georga she said the person I was dealing with left and left alot of customers in the lurch when talkinh to another staff member ,she then left for Darwin that week in our conversation she even said I would receive a full refund , she asked me to yet again send photos of the flooring I forgot to mention we ripped up the flooring we had previously put down as that had scratches all in them we and replaced them and now they have scratches on them , The QEP then accused us of not looking after the floor property and that its been 2 years , and they will not do anything about it and they just judged us by the photos not even bothered to send a rep to see what the problem could be very disappointing from bunnings accusing us of dragging furniture across the floors , we are in our late 60s and replaced our tiles as they are slippery and now we are stuck and have to look at them daily what a waste of money and a deceptive warranty if you plan of never walking on your floor than this might work other than that dont waste your money I am now seeking legal action this isnt on .
Very poor quality so dissapointed with Bunnings for selling it – Been down 18 months and has started to lift the edges. Awful product and bunnings no longer stock it. Has a 10 year warranty which is a joke. Show details
At your own peril!!! – In direct sunlight when it’s 23 degrees outside I measured the planks reaching 75 degrees Celsius. That’s 3rd degree burns if you touch it longer than two seconds. They otherwise never stay together as they warp and movie. The installation took me a ridiculous amount of time, sweat and blood. Show details
Don't be tempted – This is a frustrating product. The outer layer is tough. We have had our floor for almost two years and it has not scratched. It has also withstood some water on it. The big issue is the click lock system. They pull apart and there are gaps between boards. The outer layer then chips at the exposed edges. The boards are slightly crooked, which causes them to pull apart.

Don't bother – Went down ok once you got the hang of it but still had a large number of broken planks due to the brittle nature of the material. After a year of being installed the laminate started to peel off the corners and the joins betweens planks started to seperate. We're now left with gaps in between the planks.
Worst flooring – This is the worst flooring I’ve laid down in my 27 years of laying down floor.

Great product (First time laying flooring) – We have never laid flooring before, and decided at the last minute to lay it in the opposite direction of our timber flooring so that when we do the hallway it's longways. We belt sanded a couple of area's that had a height deviation. It was great to work with, i was nervous after reading all the negative reviews that perhaps we made a mistake… Read more
purchasing this product. We read the box, purchased the installation kit, used a drop saw and table saw for the cuts length ways. As long as you get the correct angle it goes together quite well, and we ensured to leave the 8mm expansion gap including in front of the shower and purchased some aluminum to cover the expansion gap. Once we got the second row started we were getting the hang of it. We had a difficult shape room to do and the whole job for bathroom and separate toilet took 5 hours start to finish including cutting door jambs. I have purchased more already, and have decided to use it in all living area's as we renovate each room. Hopefully it holds up well!
These tiles are not a good solution – Tiles lifted then broke when trying to relay them. The concrete floor was well levelled so fault was with the tiles. Tiles had only been in place less than 2 years and were delaminating. Decided to pull them all up and use a better quality product. Show details
Don't waste your money – We purchased this floor, to install throughout our home. My Husband is a trades man as is my Father-in law, they read the instructions, we purchased the installation kit and the required underlay etc and it was installed perfectly. Looked nice for a short period, before it started moving, breaking, lifting and the edges breaking and peeling away.… Read more
Complete waste of money. Rang Bunnings and HanWood on two separate occasions in relation to warranty, neither company cares. My Husband has now relayed our kitchen floor, four-five times, as we had a few boxes of spare planks, and nothing changes, it still moves break and looks atrocious and is very embarrassing when guests come to visit. Don't waste your money, time or frustration.

Clip lock vinyl flooring – Laid 3 rooms with this product by myself using just a handsaw, #80 sandpaper, pliers and small drill bit. The product is very clever the way it interlocks giving a seamless appearance. Love the look. I am hoping that it gives me many yrs of use. Don’t understand why so many “diss” this product. Looks good for cheap outlay – Bought this product before reading the reviews and yes it is difficult until you figure out the process which is definitely not a one person job. We tried Anni b method but over 9 metres was too difficult. Eventually was able to fit the end piece then lift the board to tap in to place. Games room/garage looks great but will see about it's longevity over time. Show details
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY – Looked perfect when first laid, but after 12 months of being walked on the locking system snaps off and boards slide around. Product has a 10 year warranty which isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. $3,000+ down the drain.
Nice tip Annie B !!!! – Like others , I found , that because both the end joins and side joins , of these hybrid planks , need to be slid in at a 30deg angle , it is impossible for both to go in, fully , at the same time . It was only by following Annie B's tip , of joining all the end joints , into one long plank , that we could then snap the whole plank into the… Read more
previous row . Lucky we had a square room . Bunnings got Hanwood to strengthen the flimsy joints , but now they must get them to change the end join , into hammer straight down join , like similar products . Great finish but harder work ( because of design fault )
Nice floor, awful to lay - please review for tip on laying floor – Bought from Bunnings, assumed it was normal click fit flooring. It is NOT We broke nearly a whole box trying to follow the instructions which just throw in the bin, I’m sure they were a copy and paste for another system! We finally went searching for answers on the net, nothing four. The trick is you have to slide the planks together on the… Read more
short edge for the entire row you are working on, it starts off a little tricky but once you get it you will get a flush fit no gaps between planks. Then move that row in to position and it then sort of clicks in, tap in with a rubber mallet, and flooring block. It’s a lot more time consuming that normal flooring but the finish is not too bad once you hang of it.
Stay away from this – Nightmare product. It appears to be masonite with some wood grain finish. Joining system weak and breaks easily making it impossible to not leave small gaps between planks. Cannot tap planks together without breaking tounge and grooves. Would not recommend.
Don’t go near this Hybrid Hanwood product – This product is so bad , it is hard to believe that Bunnings sells it. It does not matter how well you lay the planks they come apart . Looks good in the box and that is where it should stay.
Do not buy this product – We are experienced at laying floating floors and this product is a nightmare to keep the joins together. You cant glue it or put nails to keep it from moving apart.the tongue and Grove are so fragile when you try to fix them together the tongues break.they won't stay together and the boards are not straight.cheap and nasty to lay but looks good on the box
Good flooring – Laid a few years back and still in excellent condition. Tricky to install as the tongues are easily damaged but once you know what to do it works great. Don't know why others have such negative comments.

Terrible product – I’d give this product no stars if I could. Product warps in the sun, joins move with heat and it scratches terribly when it says scratch resistant. Don’t waste your money. Questioned Bunnings about it and they refuse to help us.
Terrible – I have had flooring never like this it is absolute crap never again the locking system brakes away and it’s not straight or the same width I would not recommend

Ok and easy flooring – We laid this about 2.5 years ago in our kitchen - weathered oak. Laid directly over existing tiles and it is pretty good. It was pretty easy to lay and in our experience has lasted pretty well. there are a few scratches now in it but due to the patterns and colouring, you can't even see them unless you're looking for them. We have a dog and kids… Read more
so it does get a pretty hard time with things dropping on it and the dog running around on it. We haven't experienced any laminate lifting? It drums a little in one spot where the tiles underneath must not be totally level but it's not a real issue. We are right now about to extend it through the whole tiled areas of the house.
If I could give it no stars I would – Had this s... flooring down now for 12 months and the faux wood is lifting off the backing in the corners everywhere. We have renovated many houses over the years and this stuff is not work the cardboard box it comes it. Dont waist your money buy better quality. Bunnings sell it which is where we purchased it from and they dont want to know… Read more
anything about it. We have laid it through the whole house so to replace it is a huge job removing all the skirtings and furniture not to mention the huge cost of replacing it all.
Not for the faint hearted – We have previously laid rigid laminate flooring through our 2 storey house so we are quite experienced in laying this kind of flooring. We purchased Hanwood Waterproof laminate flooring from Bunnings to do an enclosed verandah that might get wet at the outside entry. Laying this stuff is nowhere as 'easy' as rigid flooring. Its flexible and rather… Read more
difficult to get to stay in place. If this is your first time at laying, DON'T go there. For the price, its not worth the hassle, even for experienced layers. You are constantly trying to get the pieces to line up and not move. This doesn't happen with rigid flooring, once it clicks in to place you are done and move on. Not this stuff. Expensive mistake for us. Still not really happy with the final outcome.
