Really good service, new screen, new case, very happy and price very respectable, had to go in the next day as I could not remove the sim card in my phone, a young man had to pull half the phone apart to achieve this (swollen battery) and did not charge me, thank you Happytel

Liam is a Legend – He slapped that screen protector and there were no bubbles. NO BUBBLES! With an amazing case to go with my new phone. Jokes aside, Liam's service was great, giving us a nice phone case and putting on the screen protector professionally for a good price.

regardless of what phone / tablet / electronic device problem(s) you may have. He is cheeky, funny as, hard working, awesome and is happy to just have a chat when he has time. His skill set is enviable, customer service is better than the rest and he will give you options if you're unsure of what you need done. HappyTel, you have invested wisely in Jovi at the Riverlink business. I will always go back when my dumb fingers make trouble haha. Knowing that Jovi is around on a Sunday (even though he should be doing his own weekend thing), I won't go to anyone else. Keep it up Jovi!!!!

The best iPad repair – Amazing service. My iPad Pro 2021 with oled screen which was damaged really badly got repaired so well that it looks better than a new one !!! I already tried to repair this in other place and they were not able to fix it. Happytel resurrected my iPad - so happy. And the screen protector which was put on my iPad is great. Can’t recommend this company enough

Staff where very helpful but unfortunately when the manager became involved a break down in communication occurred as well as some delay in obtaining the quote for insurance repairs. On receiving the phone back, after a long wait for the manager to arrive on-site and complete the insurance quote I discovered that half the work was not completed… Read more

and the front camera that had been working prior to repair was broken.

When I complained I was told that I hadn't requested the back phone and camera be repaired, despite the damages included in images of damages to be repaired in an email from the staff for my insurer.

When I pointed out this clearly wasn't true I was told that they would retrain thier staff, who had gone on holiday, meaning the worker I had requested repairs through had not been questioned as to what I had requested repaired and offered a ten percent discount on a future purchase and that the front camera would be fixed if I returned to the store.

The blatant dishonesty and disrespect by the management is most unfortunate and I would strongly urge you to take your phone elsewhere, somewhere the customer is not treated with such contempt for Happytel's own management issues. Retraining staff seems an expensive alternative to completing the works I requested or a complaint time business services and the insurer.

Poor quality and service – Got my screen replaced paid extra for the hi quality replacement screen jess the manager/owner put the cheapest screen on resulting in my battery being killed from overworking trying to push power to screen would not use them again there products are crap and never pay cash even with receipt said there was nothing on his books so can’t help turned and ignored me talking to his co worker in there language I just left never to go back

Steer clear – I don't know whether those working in Melbourne Central are new, because whereas in the past I received excellent service, the one with the glasses whom I encountered last week, is both rude and hasn't a clue about products. Nor does he care.

Bunbury WA, I went to Telstra this morning to sort some problems out with my phone and they couldn't fix all the problems they sent me to Happytel stall just outside their store. I saw Amber explained the problem and she was so lovely and fixed the problem straight away. Thank you so much Amber. I have always bought my phone covers from them but I will be going to them first with problems now✨️

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE – Purchased the MagSafe Wireless charging stand form their eBay store (Oscar.tech). When item arrived the box had already been opened and the stand was not only clearly not brand new as described, but damaged and covered in scratches. Contacted the seller through Ebay and after getting no reply or response, submitted a return request. Seller then… Read more

contacted me, apologised and offered to send a new replacement. I of course agreed and thanked them. They then emailed me again saying I could just keep the damaged one, and would I like to cancel my return request through on eBay to avoid having to go to Auspost. I foolishly agreed and did so. I notified them I did this and that I trusted they would still send the replacement item as agreed. I received the following reply from them

“We value your trust towards us and will keep it definitely.

We will dispatch it soon and will update you with a tracking number when it is done.

Thank you!

Regards, Happytel”

After receiving this last email all correspondence via eBay and Email stopped and numerous attempts by me to contact them ignored. No tracking number ever sent or replacement item received. So I contacted their head office in Sydney, informing them of everything that happened in the hope that they would contact me to help resolve the issue. No such luck. Again no response or reply, completely ignored.

All Emails received via eBay and personal Email where from the Happytel email listed on their own company webpage info@happytel.com, so no question it is the same seller.

More annoyed at my stupidity for trusting them in the first place and not reading the return policy on eBay. They knew that as soon as I cancelled my return request they wouldn’t have to do anything, there would be nothing more I could do as you can’t submit a new request to return an item when I closed the original request. Least I was smart enough to pay through Paypal so have submitted a refund request through them. Absolutely disgusting behaviour Happytel and I hope review can serve as a warning to others not to buy from Happytel or their eBay counterpart ‘Oscar.Tech’

No support with faulty products – Purchased their 3in1 MagSafe charging dock 7 months ago, contacted them to ask for an exchange to be told they only warrant their items for 6 months. This information is not shown on their website or on the receipt. To spend the amount they sell their chargers for and not to come with a standard 12 months warranty like other manufacturers do is extremely disappointing. Be mindful when buying these items, I know where I’ll be taking my business.

Excellent Service – 21 June 2023. Rang Happytel Whitfords first thing in the morning today to see if they could transfer data to my new phone. Very happy with the price quoted. The transfer was finished in a reasonable time. The operator was very honest, polite and professional. I would definitely recommend this service and use them again. Thank you. Norma

Great service – I was having trouble getting a screen protector on my steam deck, so I took it to them. They did a fantastic job and didn't even charge me! Excellent service! They also had very friendly staff and were very polite even when doing me a free favor. Since they wouldn't accept any payment or tips, we bought some small phone accessories (about $10 worth) as thanks.

Sharp practice with shipping costs not shown before paying – I wanted to buy a simple phone cover costing $9.99. I was aware that I would have to pay the shipping costs because it was under $50. (too much and too slow) - If I wanted a fast delivery it would cost even more. Not worth it for such an inexpensive item. I backed up and removed the item from my cart and left the site.

I’m sure that many people would have thought that they had paid and would be forced to spend money on a fast delivery….. Why not quote the shipping options and costs BEFORE taking credit card details…. There was no “cancel purchase” on the page.

To further confuse the customer - I have received two emails from Happytel Retail saying that my item was still in my cart and that I should return to their website to complete the order….

I believe that Happytel has designed its website to trick the customer into going ahead with a purchase with poor/expensive shipping options.

Liam at riverlink was amazing! – Came in thinking the battery needed to be replaced, but Liam had a look and found that charging port was the issue.. after he dug a little further into the problem he found a few more issues with corrosion etc. They fixed it straight away.. amazing service!!! Thanks Liam!!

I said the screen could be damaged by the time it is replaced the reply was ‘no problem if it is then it will also be replaced’….I do not want my brand new 14Pro needing a major repair within a month of getting it….absolutely terrible attitude!

Edit: Returned with receipt for refund. Messed around again. Manager actually slammed the box on the counter in front of me prior to getting my refund.

Now going to drive 30mins to PTC where the customer service has always been fantastic.

and was told it will now take two weeks for it to be fixed. Took me 3 stores to get in contact with a manager with 1 of there stores not even knowing a managers number. Asked for a phone since i wont have one for two weeks and was meet by aggression from the manager with no solution for myself over the next two weeks. Asked for my phone back and got it back in worse condition than i handed it in. Took it to another company took 2 hours to fix...
