Harman Kardon AVR 430
1 review
Good – This amp does double duty as my home theatre amp and hi fi amp. It sounds fantastic with my NAD cd player. Logic 7 works well, kills pro logic if you like listening to music using DSP modes. Finaly bought this amp after having endless trouble with a NAD reciever, so far the Harman has worked without a glitch. HUGE sound, despite only being rated at 65w per channel. Kills my old 100w?? per channel Sony. Includes every surround format you could want. Looks great in the entertainment unit, glowing blue volume knob is pretty cool. Backlit remote good and auto setup with sound level meter built into remote makes calibration easy, even though it set my two front channels 3db different. No complaints so far. Set up can be a little complicated for the first time user, but is worth the effort to get the best sound out of it.
