Heart Salt Chicken Salt

Good dupe for Fish & Chip Shop Chicken Salt – Let me start by saying, no this isn’t an EXACT copy of the classic fluro chicken salt found in your favourite fish and chip shop. But it’s a VERY GOOD option especially considering it can be hard to get your hands on a good chicken salt that isn’t bulk or isn’t fluro yellow like it should be. This has a really nice flavour too it. It does have a bit of a tang too and I mean for the price and lack of options available to the general public I think this is a very good close second to the OG chicken salt we all know and love and grew up on.

If you want something ‘similar’ then this would be a great option. I bought it on sale at Woolies but think other retailers also sell it as I’ve seen larger containers.

Plus it’s better for you— so that will make you feel better about yourself right? It also sometimes has a bit of an aftertaste if you sprinkle too much on your chippies but it isn’t unpleasant and goes away as soon as you gobble another one down.

I’ve tried a lot, chippy salt, Mitanni, nice and tasty (good option too) but this I think is one of the best available.
