Wheelchair ramp – Good condition and great. Great price valuable to buy this ramp Show details
Ramp champ saved the day – We needed a solution to a problem which was to help my elderly mum get up and down a few stairs. We only have a few stairs but with a dodgy knee and mobility issues we needed a safe way to negotiate stairs safely as her knee is arthritic and it was becoming risky. After some research on the web I found Ramp Champ and I settled on these… Read more
wheelchair ramps because they were lightweight and extendable to 2.1m so even with just 2 steps it would be a gentle incline and decline and not intimidating for a 97 year old. I bought them online on a Monday , they arrived on Wednesday and I used them on Saturday . The ramps were easy to extend and the ride was smooth. They are only 11kg for the pair , so 5.5kg each ramp. We have a transit chair which is not very heavy and these ramps take 300k (150k each side) so more than enough for our needs. Cost wise , well they cost $379 with free delivery from Melbourne. They are an investment for my mums safety and my piece of mind. Just a tip, even with the gentle incline, the carer will need a bit of strength to push up and get down the ramp. People of average fitness and strength should be OK. I am happy with this purchase and the ramps will be used at least weekly when I take my mum out.
