Hi-Tec Men's Avalanche Winter Shell

Well made but poor quality soles – Soles look like they have grip but don't. After 2 months of I have slipped on numerous surfaces and can't even walk down my driveway when it is slightly damp. No other shoes have had ever this problem at (least 10 pairs). the boots have shown to be reasonably sturdy for general use apart from one other issue: The upper around the toes is a bit soft and looks like it will wear through early. Too bad I just don't feel safe wearing them, particularly for hiking which is what they are meant for.
