Hills VHF/UHF Black Arrow Antenna

Hills Black Arrow VHF Tru Band High Gain TV Antenna – Parramatta Sydney. Faced intermittent reception issues with an older but good quality VHF/UHF aerial on top of a 4m mast, particularly on Channel 2. Install of this antenna only 2m up the mast has delivered 10/10 quality and strength across the spectrum. Was easy to install and highly recommend for a metro install.

Excellent Antenna, fixed all the issues – I needed to get my old antenna replaced to a new digital antenna as I was having reception problems. We live in Wembley Downs and had the original 20 year old aerial on the roof. Boris from Antenna Direct Perth recommended we get this product installed. So far the reception has been perfect and it has lasted very well through rainy weather and windy days too.

poor selection for area – Hills website recommended this antenna for 6720 terrible selection went to match master and now get all stations Please check your analysis charts for this area This is causing a lot of disappointment in this area

Great performance in Melbourne – I had a ~10yr old combination antenna that was great in its day, but the vhf black arrow added an extra 15dB of power (64dB) with a 34dB MER, so very high quality. Fantastic Aussie made antenna for Glen Iris (Melbourne).

Finally fix up Channel 10 and ABC in Sydney – We have been tolerating poor reception since the digital retune in Sydney in 2014. I decided to go for a new antenna as our older VHF antenna was good to only Channel 10 as there were no channel 11 and channel 12 back many years ago. The Hills Black Arrow seems to be well built and it is made in Australia - very unusual in this day and age. The signal generated by the antenna is strong enough for a 4 way splitter. I have also done no TV installer would recommend and left it in the roof space which has been lined with Alu sarking. But it works!

So overall happy with purchase and no longer struggle to tune into MasterChef or ABC 24 News!

Now I just have to take down the old antenna which has been mounted on a roof top mast.
