This is a very good TV for the price point. My favourite feature is that it includes DTS & DTS Master Audio support which is essential for surround sound if you have a big Blu-ray disc library like me. Most cheap TVs only support Dolby Digital these days. The VIDAA mobile app is also very useful and works as a full remote as a backup for the physical remote bar. Comes pre-installed with all the major streaming apps. The responsiveness is good, there's little lag when starting up or navigating menus.

On the downside I'm not that impressed with the picture quality. The screen lacks luminance for me and it's hard to get a satisfying brightness to contrast ratio without the screen looking dim. A decent soundbar is obligatory with this, the inbuilt audio quality is terrible, unsurprisingly at this price point.

Overall though I'm happy, especially with the DTS codec support.

Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi Retail Stores for $235.

Disappointing – My elderly mother in law wanted a cheap upgraded TV (12 yr old) for her lounge room and took the punt on the Chinese Hisence 43"Q6NAU 4K QLED ($535) a few months ago which seems to be working pretty good. The speed/response seems pretty quick..., not in the ball park as my new Samsung 55"/75"QLED, but acceptable for the price. Anyway having this initial success story in lounge room she wanted an upgrade for the dinosaur in her bedroom and saw the A4NAU 32" on sale for $245 and wanted it. I went and installed it the other day and went reasonably quick, till I started logging into the apps. Some were quick but some were long to get into.

Now the biggest fault you see instantly on this Hisence Q6NAU 32" is it is pretty damn laggy for a new TV and takes about 1 to mainly 2 seconds to move around its modes and functions. Normal free to air TV is okay but also a bit laggy in channel changes. You also see straight away that it's only HD in the definition and nowhere near as super crisp in fact average compared to higher FHD/UHD spec models.

I own current Samsung T5300 32" FHD which I've had for over a year now which I use as a desktop monitor and spare TV in our office and it's absolutely superb. I only paid low $300 for it back then but they are now around $545 RRP. The Samsung T5300 is definitely worth the extra cash. I was initially thinking of grabbing the Hisence for the garage as a cheap smart TV but will grab another Samsung 32" on the BF sales soon.

Quality and performance always comes at a worthwhile cost.

Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi for $245.

VIDAA on a Hisense 'Smart TV', is so bad it not only turns it into a 'Stupid TV', but an 'Annoying TV' as well – Hisense TVs have become awful to use. You click on the remote control and a second later it reponds THIS IS RIDICULOUS. It runs VIDAA which is so full of bloatware that the TV struggles to cope with it. Even worse there no longer seems to be an option to remove any of them. It comes prefilled with things I have never heard of and HAVE NO INTEREST IN. I have been buying them for years and they were very good (I had a 55" which lasted for 10 years untill I gave it away and got a newer one).

Their quality has just been going down hill lately. I have checked on two current models and they are now awful, one I purchased one a friend purchased and different models. The one I purchased for an elderly relative, they can't use it as it defaults to a screen full of useless apps like a badly designed phone.

I am going to have to install them a DIGITAL ANTENNA so they can at least watch the ABC. Trying to stream the ABC on it and find the news is RIDICULOUS with the OS delay. The delay is so long it appears that the remote is not reacting so they keep pushing it.

HOW IS VIDAA ALLOWED TO FILL A TV UP WITH UNWANTED APPS YOU CANNOT REMOVE?

If you look on the web there are all sorts of basic videos and explanations on how to remove the apps, BUT THEY NO LONGER WORK.

I therefore will NEVER BUY A HISENSE TV AGAIN, and I advise people to check that you can actually remove apps on any TV you are thinking of purchasing.

HISENSE --- 5 Stars Before - Excellent 0 Stars Now ---- Garbage.

VIDAA ------ 0 Stars - Garbage.

Choice Magazine needs to look at any TV running VIDAA and check if it runs properly with the installed apps, and downrate it if you cannot remove them as it is a serious defect.

Had to upload Hisense receipt to verify this review, which is fine. The receipt is the latest model of three Hisense TVs that I own, in which the VIDAA system running has got progressivley worse to the point that is is now obnoxious. I think I need to contact the ACCC, to find out whether or not legally purchased hardware is allowed to be hobbled by being so full of bloatware like a badly designed phone that it functions in slow motion.

Hisense quality is dropping, my 65" last just over three years and out of warranty. The 65" was a replacement for the 55" (which lasted for over 10 years) which I only got rid of as the screen seemed to be getting a bit like watching through a thin curtain.
