Is this model a smart tv – I am not sure wether model of Hisense tv is a smart tv or not. Can you please let me know
This is terrible – It is really terrible, money thrown in the drain. 40" failed just 3 months after warranty, and could not owner the warranty. Doesn't bring up pictures but the power button indicate power but gradually dims. This is junk junk junk. This is my first and last time buying hisense products. Junk junk junk.
Tuning required after turning off – my just over 3 year (23 days) out of warranty TV strated to lose channels. Couldnt find the receipt and eventually asked for a copy from the Good Guys. By this time warranty elapsed by 23 days. Hisense warranty department didnt honour the warranty. Its bad luck they said. No Hisense bad luck for you as I will bin the TV and NEVER purchase another Hisense TV. Cheap Last up to the warranty.
What a pile of rubbish! – nonsense is a fitting name for this television. this is my third review on this tv, i wish i had thought of that. these tvs are trash mine lasted me 6-7 months before the panel died in October 2013 and its a 2012 model and i send it in 5 days before thanks giving 2013 waited a full month longer than the ten business days they said it would take… Read more
before i gave in and called them back. they told me they needed a receipt for the tv i sent them that and wait another 8 days to be able to reach some one again because i kept getting the " all circuits are busy try again later" answer and people hanging up on me instead of taking my call. when i finally got some one after all that they told me they didnt have the part to fix my tv..... i asked for a refund and they called me last week to confirm my mailing address and im still waiting for it. during this time i had bought another hisense tv because i thought i might have gotten a bad one. nope the panal died on that one after 4 weeks and 3 days and i brought it back to Walmart and fought with them about it for almost an hour. thankfully Maine has the implied warranty law so they had to.
and the worst thing about hisense is the music they play while waiting. its so annoying!
the image was okay for the short time i had it but it wasnt a thure led. it said led-lcd on the back but only led on the box. SCAM!
Worst Warranty Service Ever!!!! – I purchased a HISENSE LCD HSL4229HDIP picture started to break up massive pixulation problems!! Took over 3 months to get a replacement, but was advised to have my cables checked before they would send anyone out, service staff very rude and didn't have time to listen. I had to take my tv back to JB HIFI they proved there was a fault with TV… Read more
and kindly organised a replacement which took yet another month! I wrote a letter for reimbursement of cost but they had failed to draw attention to the policy wording that doesn't cover this. Do not purchase a HISENSE based on it in home replacement warranty, poor overall service, ow new tv is starting to have problems pixulation! I agree with other person comment nonsense a better name! Cheap - you get what you pay for Pixilation, sound, bad warranty service
I would call this brand ' nonsense ' – I would call this brand ' nonsense ' instead of hisense seeing as the product is bad and the after-sales service is non-existent. Might as well use this TV as a sunblocker for your loungeroom window or throw it into the nearest bay. With exception of the black finish, it performs like crap. Even other brands mentioned elsewhere on this site… Read more
perform somewhat better than this. Extremely unreliable, costs more to repair than the purchase price in the long term (assuming you can get anywhere with the technical support team). The warranty is a joke. The video inverter board is poorly engineered so heat transfer is limited causing the set to malfunction and the picture to 'freeze' and 'go pink' (even with a decent ventilation grille on the rear of the unit). Waste of money and effort.
Terrible – Customer service was pathetic. refused to honour warranty as i lost my original receipt. the tv was released less than 3 years ago so who cares if i dont have the receipt IT MUST BE UNDER 3 YEARS OLD and therefore covered by their 3 year warranty. 1st and last time i buy hisense anything. pathetic. Died after 3 months
Short life TV's don't buy!!!! – I own a motel and bought 26 of these TV's and my advice to anyone is not to buy one. They seem programmed to last 366 days and Hisrense refuse to service their junk. These TV's are absolute junk and in the last 3 months I have tossed out 6 of them that are about two years old. Don't buy them, they just stop working and Hisense do not care. You get… Read more
what you pay for junk money, junk TV. Shell out for a decent brand Don't last very long and no warranty service
im not buying this now i know
Terrible – TV was returned today after a week of chasing/calling people. Will be getting a refund and a different brand TV. The picture was average, and the sound worked intermittently. 3year warranty in-house is great- if you can get through to them and they actually turn up. otherwise what's the point. I'll be spending the extra couple hundred dollars to get a quality TV this time around... price picture quality, fact it wasn't working in under a week
Bad – We were talked into buying the hisense by the salesman at JB. He said the three year in home warranty was Hisense's way of breaking into the Australian market. We thought it was a good deal so took it. Whenever something goes wrong with it we have to jump through hoops to prove it's the tv and not us with the problem before they'll do anything… Read more
about it and then they take their time. After sales care is woeful and the television is definitely low quality. Picture and sound freezes and sometimes the picture would go all pink. It eventually died and I had to do a multitude of things before the warranty people on the phone would believe it was the tv that had the problem. Avoid Hisense. It's not worth the couple of hundred you save at the time of purchase. price picture and sound freezes and has to be turned off and back on again. sometimes the colour went all pink and purple. it then stopped working. 3 year in home warranty is a nightmare.
Hisense are terrible don't buy one. Tv freezes, the menus are just poxxy and cheap and at times the… Read more
Honoured Warranaty no problems – The tv had problems not staying on the channel, found receipt 3 weeks left till warranty ran out, phoned Hisense on Tuesday, faxed a copy of the receipt and had a new TV on Friday, no questions.. as far as i am concerned excellent service. Maybe the guy who didn't have the receipt read the Warranty, it is not transferable so you have to prove you… Read more
were the original owner. excellent Warranty service, good picture nothing, until the problem with the channels

I've had JVC TV broke and spent 6months in repair centre, same as my sony and Sharp i had, didn't last very long at all.I have had this 32inch Hisense TV now for almost 4years now and its works like i just got it.
I use it as my pc monitor xbox 360 gaming movies everything.I reccomend it to anyone.
I just bought 47inch Hisense LED 100hrz 6months ago and it so good!
All my friends have Hisense now they love it,no joke!:)
My brother bought Samsung led and its 100hrz is garbage compared to the Hisense. He doesnt even turn it on its that bad.Mine on the other hand never goes off:) He thinks my tv looks great by the way lol No 100hrz
Not much to hate about it?its almost 4 years later i wish it had 1080p
4Hdmi ports...
Good – The unit itself is very good looking. The picture quality is outstanding for the price. The contrast and brightness is also extremely good. Viewing angle is best part of 180 degrees. And the bad side, we are in a very bad TV reception area that means we need the best of tuners / Set Top Boxes just to get TV. The tuner in this unit is… Read more
almost useless for us. Any sign of wind / rain / cloud and you can forget watching the digital TV component. We rely on a AV extender so we can watch Fox / Free to air in the room this TV is located. Great TV, good picture quality. Very bright. Lots of inputs. Great price. Digital TV tuner is rubbish. Great price.
Good – Good tv for the price, and we really liked the idea of the 3 year in home replacement warranty. The cables are easily accessible without looking messy, and the buttons on the side are good too. This is much easier than having a tv and a set top box, and we also like to be able to plug in our usb photos straight to the tv without having to use the… Read more
cables. Good price, and great digital picture. Sometimes there is a slight vibration coming from the tv when there is a lot of bass in the program we are watching.
