I placed an order on 2/3/26 for sewing machine. Received no shipping order or confirmation despite calling and speaking to someone who assured me order had been dispatched. I was also assured a tracking number would follow shortly.....days later I've heard nothing. Poor customer service

my old Bernina (20 years old and still going strong) the stitches on the new machine is amazing, easy to use once you read the manual, hoping it last at least half the time my other one did.

Overall extremely happy with Honbysew and the my Bernette.

Don't bother to deal with this online shop, pure scam. I bought a sewing machine there and it stopped sewing after a couple of months. I have been trying to reach them for months, but no single phone call was answered, and they never answered my emails.

No refunds BEWARE – No other business or shop in NSW will decline refunding, give store credit or refund minus restocking fee. Sewing machine bought and returned day after, not used. Box opened instruction manual read, thats it! Deemed 2nd hand! Ridiculous. Will not recommend to anyone nor return there.

Perfect item!! – I ordered three Diamond Dotz frames and they were spot on perfect! They fit the canvases exactly as described and look amazing! Shipping was prompt and the frames were well protected in plenty of bubble wrap. Very happy!

the machine was delivered to me in Melbourne on the Tuesday and this was just before Christmas which I thought might delay things. Very happy, great service.

Online order – I ordered online and became nervous after seeing these reviews. Everything went smoothly. I got email confirmation straight away and it was dispatched in 4 days even though it can take up to 10 days. I called to confirm that it was the entire order and the staff were so nice. Everything was wrapped well with Fragile labels and this way up stickers. (Which were ignored by my delivery driver). Everything seems to be working as it should.

All up it took 8 days to receive my new sewing machine and I'm very happy.

Do not buy online from Hobbysew – I’ve visited Hobbysew store, customer service was good. But because they don’t have the sewing machine in store, I decided to purchase it online form their website. when it will be available. So I requested refund. After almost a week, still no refund received. Lucky I purchase via PayPal, so I open a dispute via PayPal and received the refund in 1 day! The whole purchase and refund took 1 month for a machine the seller does not even have. And as at today, I can still see the same machine being on sale and advertised on their website. Wonder how many people are baited by it. That is so wrong selling a product that is not available. I will never purchase online again from Hobbysew website.

Worst service ever! – After making an online order and paying over $500 for the product, I was given the runaround for 4 weeks...to then be told the order wasn’t placed! Save time shop elsewhere!

customer service – The customer service on the phone call was not great, it could have been much much better in my opinion. Although I do think they can do better and the materials are good

Very arrogant – Avoid Kings Park, customer service is bad I agree with the previous comment, once it leaves kings park they do not care I only hope the machine works as I do not wish to deal with them again.

arrogant lady in the shop who claims to be conducting sewing and sticthing classes was so arrogant with us, its worth aviding this location. The lady believes she is the keeper of all the knowledge in this world and will tear your self respect off till you regret visiting this shop in first place. We regret visiting the shop. If you want to get humiliated especially if you are newbie, please go and visit this shop, else avoid this location of Hobbeysew if you can at all costs

Good shopping – Great service Hobbysew. I have just received my Janome overlocker, that we ordered last week, with all the extras. It’s my first ever overlocker ever....I’ve been sewing for over 60 yrs, so I’m like a child with a new toy. Good service, great value for money. Thankyou

Good price and service – I found the sewing machine I wanted on the website for a good price. I had trouble with online ordering but they rang me that day and I ordered over the phone, and the machine was posted to me that day (interstate) and arrived within a week in good condition, and postage was free. I'd definitely recommend if you know what you want.
