Holman Warm White Garden Spotlight

I stumbled across this 7 watt product and installed it and it is just what I wanted. The rest of my lights are not Holman so I had to do a little DIY with the cabling to make it all work...but that was easy.

Easy to install, look great, feel robust – I decided to buy Holman spotlights lights to light up a few plants in our garden. They were super easy to set up and look great. can't comment on their longevity, but they seem solid.

I chose Holman over the brilliant system, as I opened the box at bunnings for each and the Brilliant ones felt really cheap and lightweight vs the Holman (plastic vs metal bits - perhaps this is nothing, but they didn't seem robust). We only wanted warm white, so just got the 2 pin warm white and not the 4 pin colour.

We found the 3w lights were strong enough for our plants (say 1-2m plants and a bit of diffuse light for the path), I also bought a 7w light, but felt it might be too bright (we didn't want to over light the area), so haven't ended up using it, but it seemed good if you had a reason for it, but I would buy a lower watt version first to test for your area.

I also didn't go with the bluetooth as I had read a few bad reviews, and the wifi isn't available for the warm white. We are lucky to have set up our house with an outside power board that can be turned on and off from a switch inside, so this isn't a big issue. I also thought if in the future I wanted to make the smart lights I would buy a wifi powerboard and a insulator cover for a powerboard (I saw one called Excalibur at bunnings that looked like it would do the job, hopefully doesn't shield the wifi signal too much).

Good...but with issues – Hi..I have recently purchased two warm white starter packs for our gardens...they are easy to install and look fantastic at night..the only problem is after setting a scene up for them is they will not turn off at the set time. off to bunnings to purchase colored lights for my pool garden. I am very excited and wish I knew about these lights sooner. The Bluetooth controller has a great connectivity range as well. Well done Holman and Thankyou. All my irrigation products are Holman as well and are equally good. I think Holman will soon be a good australian family name as you sure do make great products.

Well worth it even with small bug – Installed the Warm White controller with combination of 10W and 3W spots to light up new fernery...just fantastic. Easy to install, extend, configure and looks sensational at night, etc. Only issue is that controller intermittently wont talk via bluetooth to phone app. Bluetooth on phone OK ( connects to other things)...have to turn controller off & on to reset then OK. Dont hesitate BUY THESE NOW – This system of outdoor lights is amazing. So easy to install, use and connect up. Add so many dimensions and layers to your outdoor area. Will be money well spent. Wow they look great – We recently installed these lights in our garden & pool area. They bring the area to life at night. Easy to install & inexpensive system. Cost us $400 for 6 lights, controller & cables. Worth it for the look that they give off & the complements we have received on them. Easy to control with the app.  Show reply

Awesome product great quality – I had recently installed this product in my garden as was tired of the old solar lights and I am so pleased I did. Easy to install I'm a 50 yr old female did it all myself, my husband was so pleased. I have used the blue tooth controller so I have the option to dim and to set up to turn on and off. I have used a selection of sizes for the spotlights and all are brilliant I am so happy with the product. The initial outlay is so worth it.  Show reply

So easy to install!!! Give it a go – Replaced old halogen lighting with Holman LED lights. So simple, durable and inexpensive . Control panel was easy to install with easy instructions. Will be changing front garden lights next Weekend!!! Thanks again!!  Show reply

Brilliant easy to install system – We had a lighting system installed by our landscape gardener which continually required repair. I saw this system and thought how, how sensible is this! Fantastic – Installed this garden lighting system at home. WOW. I am so excited with it. It is beautiful! I have spotlights under my trees with path lights along the patio edge.
