Our not-for-profit group has been placing large orders with Homecraft for a number of years and have found the quality of their materials outstanding and their customer service top notch. I would highly recommend Homecraft Textiles.

I’ve been a few times every time the fabric has been dirty and dusty and I just get “just wash it “ absolutely horrible along with receiving some yesterday for a while to be in the middle and I can no longer use it ,

Mindblowing selection – O...M...G...! First visit to the store after randomly finding them on Google. I wandered around in a daze, as I was completely overwhelmed by not only the sheer quantity, but the Q.U.A.L.I.T.Y of the fabrics in the store! and beautifully beaded/sequined fabric, to robust heavy weight material in every conceivable colour...And the prices are exceptional. Absolutely mind blowing....Now my new fav store. So great to have such an amazing quality fabric place right here in WA. This shop differs from Spotlight in that they specialize in fabrics and sewing products , rather than homewares/art supplies/party supplies etc. Huge range of buttons, lace trim, fringing, cottons (including embroidery cottons), scissors, elastic etc, to name a few. Staff were friendly and very accommodating (made the effort to find out when the delivery of a fabric on back order would arrive). This place is not a mere spotlight - it's a blazing floodlight!!!

Cotton terry towelling – My first purchase was on line and the fabric received was great quality and the colour true to photo samples. Service was swift and efficient and there were no dramas! Ill definitely purchase from Homecraft Textiles again.

Excellent service – Ankina was so efficient. We needed 60m of one colour, good quality and price too. They even gave me extra heavy duty plastic tube to protect it for the plane ride home. Quick pleasant service.

I purchased fabric from Homecraft Textiles, expecting high quality, but was disappointed to find noticeable flaws. When I reached out to customer service, I was told that these imperfections were within "acceptable tolerances" and that a refund or exchange was not possible. What’s worse is their dismissive attitude—essentially telling customers to lower their expectations rather than standing by their products. If you care about quality and good service, I’d strongly recommend shopping elsewhere. I won’t be returning.

Substandard quality – Recently reviewed Home craft Textiles Bentley. Wow did they do a nasty response to my critical and factual review. quality it should be. If I had known I would not have done an online order and certainly would not have bought the substandard fabric if I went to the store.

Horrible customer service – I visited Joondalup, WA store to return a faulty fabric previously agreed with the manager over the phone. I was served by Paul, who couldn't be bothered to even respond with a greeting. He acted like I interrupted him doing paperwork and after a couple of eye rolls processed my return. Then proceeded by throwing the fabric right back into a basket for the next customer to buy the greatly stained fabric.

Could not be happier. I ordered some fabulous fabrics from the store for the first time this week. I was a bit nervous so rang and asked a few questions. The assistants were knowledgable, helpful and honest..the fabrics are all great quality and a very good price. The service and advice was excellent and postage was very fast even for express across a the country. I will definitely be buying from home craft textiles again. Thanks so much.

Horrible Customer Service!!!! – Worst Experience!!!! My friend and I went to purchase two time to this place. she was comparing that boss don't work back in her country but she has to work here. One miserable person frustrate with her life and work. When we came to pay there was a young [Content Removed] girl working there and this owner came and verbally abused that young girl in front of everyone!!! I wish this shop is taken over by some owner who is passionate about their work and knows something about customer service. Appalling Experience!!!!

Very poor and rude management and staff – Firstly customer service and customer satisfaction is very poor and factor expensive compared to Spotlight product. They are much dishonest and rude. Do waye time. I have given them business for few time since been to Spotlight I will waste my money. The management and the manager need lot of improvement to deal with st James store. Very poor.

Never Again – I recently engaged Homecraft Textiles to make some large cushions to fit my kitchen booth. I purchased some expensive Warwick fabric and provided a template for the foam. complained. An attempt to fix the issue was made but Im still not 100% satisfied with the end product. No follow up customer service. Wouldn't recommend their sewing service.

Always 5 STAR Service!!! – Rashid, Ankita and the team at Homecraft Textiles have been amazing!!! Always excellent, fast, service and the fabrics are beautiful quality. I am so grateful to do business with them.

Great staff - great service – I have been ordering cotton Lycra from Homecraft textiles for many years . They are a fantastic team at responding to my emails, sending photos of colours for me to compare and getting my items shipped out as quick as possible as I’m in QLD it is all done online. Very happy customer and I recommend their cotton Lycra to everyone as it’s beautiful quality and so easy to work with.

realise how hard it is to get valuable staff that go out of their way to make the experience less stressful and both of these ladies have done this. Rubbish fabric and customer service – Rude staff who ignore customers and instead yell instructions to each other across the store endlessly. walking towards the exit when I arrived saying "they don't have a clue what they are talking about". Another happy customer? The minimum length this store will cut is 1 m length. There is a sign near the cutting table. Not convenient for customers requiring several fabrics and smaller cuts. How this company has remained in business with the poor quality in service and products baffles me. They have renovated the store now they need to retrain the staff. you can buy and that is a quantity of "1". Confusing enough when you are buying fabric, when you normally buy fabrics by the assigned length. Not to mention "1" for majority of their fabrics is equivalent to "1 metre" but in the face mask section it is equivalent to "30cm" which this note is scrupulously hidden within the body of other text. Be careful when buying online.

When trying to talk to manager about the issue, he just showed me where it was written and instead of talking to me, just yelled and repeated "COMES IN 30CM". There was no actual discussion regarding how to better their site or anything and you can tell, that this business does not care about their customers and are only out to scam as much money out of society as they can.

Very disgusted with the service and will never ever go back again, which is a shame, because the ladies who have cut fabric for me for years have always been lovely.

Online service not great – Online customer service isn't great. As previous customers have said, they don't reply to e-mails. Also, they don't follow delivery instructions. Delivery is slow. A shame, as the products are reasonable. We try to support Australian businesses but unfortunately, the service from some is no comparison to the many choices available from overseas.

WORST FABRIC I’VE EVER BOUGHT – I bought 25 metres of voile in 3 colours in the sale. None of this fabric was voile and more like the worst muslin I’ve ever seen. All of the fabric is so see through and when you sew it it pulls on the seams. The blue had 5 inch lines of varying lines of what looked like bleach marks. and they replaced it but was only done after a phone call to them. They replaced it with some more which again is not voile and has bleach marks on it all through the 5 metre piece on them. I’ve since emailed them about the other pieces 5 days ago and still no response. I’m going to ring them on Monday. I will never buy from them again as this is the worst fabric I’ve ever bought all 25 metres of it. I wouldn’t recommend this shop at all.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE – Placed an order during the sale. Website states that orders are dispatched within 48hours. 10 days later had not received any shipping advice so sent email. Was advised probably tomorrow or monday. Still nothing by Monday. Sent another email. No response. next day I was sent confirmation that part of my order was now unavailable and refunded.… Read more

Requested refund on full order. No response but Then received tracking info for an order I no longer wanted. Still no customer service response. I will never buy from this company again. Made spotlight and knitwit order on same day, both had sales and received info from Australia post next day and already have orders from both before Homecraft even picked my order. Terrible Service.

Poor customer service – Unfortunately they weren't able to supply half of my order and they also sent me the wrong product. I emailed them to get it sorted out but there has been no response from this business whatsoever. I won't be going back.

Not happy – The quality of Minky recently purchased from you leaves a lot to be desired . No comparison to the 10 lots I purchased thru Spotlight . Would’ve expected better quality. Not happy .

over-the-top friendly, but always available when I needed advice, and full of knowledge about their products. In answer to one of my queries she was immediately able to direct me to a product that I didn't know was available anywhere in WA. I will certainly recommend this store.
