Day 1 - Telstra Upgrade to IPhone 15 Pro – After a frustrating experience using the Telstra App for my previous iPhone purchase, I opted for an in-store appointment this time. The sales assistant was exceptional, explaining that there have been significant delays with the 'Upgrade and Protect' process, warning me to prepare for a potentially lengthy turnaround. To clarify, earlier that day, they successfully completed an upgrade in just half an hour, but the first one they did last week took a whopping eight days. Not holding my breath, we proceeded.

The first piece of advice from the Customer Service Assistant (CSA) was to turn off 'Find my iPhone.' Shortly after, I received a message from Telstra stating, "Your new plan is 2GB." We then patiently waited for about 15 minutes, during which the CSA made several attempts, using his mouse to navigate options and cancel subscriptions like KAYO and Binge. After 45 minutes, the advice given was to place the purchase on hold and await a message from Telstra.

With a sigh, I prepared for the expected disappointment and wondered what Day 2 would bring.

Inspiron G5 15 SE Gaming Laptop Model 5505 – Nice laptop. Have been buying Dell computers for about 23 years. But this is not really up to scratch as the past laptops were really good. One main problem is the keyboard. The Colour is Red, I had to buy another keyboard so I can use it . When I saw it on their website thought nothing of it being red, but I can not see any of the keys. If you look on the net you will see I am not the only one that has this trouble. I Looked at other laptops they had and found similar problem. The Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 (7591) being one of them, but this time the keyboard is silver and the back light and colours of the letters kind of make it invisible. Just wish they would go back to a normal back lit keyboard you can see . But other wise the G5 is very fast and colours on the screen are quite good. I bought this gaming computer not for games but for the battery life. It is really good. Funny thing though, it comes as a gaming laptop but the Alienware software says its not compatible with the laptop. Otherwise this is a really great laptop. When due for a new one will never buy one without really checking out how the back light in the keyboard work's. May have to change brands. Will see.

Great fun, but can become expensive! – If your planning on purchasing a serious RC such as this then research is your friend. There are a few different mobs manufacturing these 1/5 scale buggies these days and the difference in cost is substantial. So its important you understand what your getting and what suits your budget. I personally went with HPI product. They are better quality then the other buggies available (which are clones) and they done all the R&D on the cars which have since been copied by the competition. However thery are much more expensive. I also wanted the build your own kit version which some other brands dont have. These cars are so much fun and if you wish there are clubs which hold 1/5 scale races. However there are a few downsides. They are expenisve, not only the initial cost but the long list in inevitable repairs really hurts the wallet. There are an abundance of aftermarket parts available which are upgrades over the HPI parts (another reason that may sway to getting a clone). Perhaps the most troubling aspect is that these cars can become missiles. These cars are big and weighing 15kgs+ and reaching speeds of 80+km/h and even much much faster once modified they can cause some serious carnage. I have no doubt they have the potential to cause serious injury or even death to a person or animal and can cause some serious damage to property. Thankfully the risks can be modified with a killswitch and common sense. These are serious hobby grade RC's and are not aimed at young children so adult supervision should be mandatory if allowing children to operate these cars. They are also very noisy being a 2 stroke and it can annoy people. Thankfully there is an electric version for those interested. Very fun, massive amounts of aftermarket parts and upgrades available. Very expensive and very large. Can be dangerous if not operated properly. Noisy which can annoy neighbours.
