Hygiene Plus Silktouch

I’ve bought this product several times and each time it last me no more than three uses. They are more expensive than most clubs and absolutely not worth the money. I’m very disappointed

disappointed – I have been used silktouch gloves for many year, but stop buying them when they changed the new one, is it possible to have the old style in? the customer services need to listen what consumer need.

Rubbish – Have used these gloves for years but no more, just rubbish. I agree with all other reviews written. The old adage "if it aint broke, don't fix it" rings true for this product.

Now dreadful – These gloves used to be great, they lived up to their name, they had a good feel to them. Now they feel just like old style rubber gloves, they are awful. The makers have gone for the cheap option. So disappointing.

ever find some I will buy up the whole stock, but no-one seems to have any of the old ones left. I wonder if PowerBrands (distributor of these gloves) would ever see these reviews?

slipped from my hands as I was washing them, the gloves are obviously made of different stuff now as the old ones I did not have that problem with. Very disappointed to say the least, now I will be searching for a different brand. Not happy.

different. It use to have no ridges on the underside now it has them. And yet they're advertised as the same with the same packaging. I feel so frustrated. My hatred for these gloves go beyond loathing and no amount of cussing makes me feel better. If I could, I'd burn every single pair of these gloves in the entire world.

far too slippery when doing dishes. I am angry and disappointed that they have changed this range. Now I will have to hunt around to find another perfect type, and try and give away the ones I purchased!!!

Bring back the original Silktouch – I have been buying these these gloves for many years, but will not be buying them again... Virtually impossible to put on and even harder to take of !!!! Whose idea was it to change them??? Perhaps a new kid on the block trying to score some points on their KPIs??? What exactly was done to improve them ???

Chinese crap – These use to be the best gloves but the company sold out to China. They are now crap and obviously are made with a pin prick hole in them on purpose. Don't buy them, boycott China. From best to worse product ever.

New Fit & Feel Silktouch is TERRIBLE – My favourite gloves for everything until now! I have bought these for years, but won't purchase again until they return to the previous quality product. They are now a poorer fit, as size has changed (larger). The gloves stick to the skin, then rip and tear away when I try to peel them off from the cuffs - so into the rubbish they go after one wear.

Africa they are more expensive than all other brands but I always bought them as they were good and long-lasting. Two new pairs in the drawer, but after that I`ll have to make a change. Just by the way, even talcum powder sprinkled inside only helps once!! Not a Happy Chappie,

costing me a fortune in replacing them so frequently. No more, may as well use cheaper ones, they're just the same. If they change back to how they were I will start buying them again. Why change something that is so good? Very disappointed.

Feeling frustrated at change of product – I literally used to shop at Woolworths especially for this awesome product. It took me to a happy place. Now I have to get my husband to pull the gloves off me. Please let us know why the change. Really sorry to say that I won't be purchasing any more. Sorry, and disappointed.

A fantastic product RUINED! – What was an awesome product...has been ruined. New fit and feel? Sorry now struggle to get them on and off. Hygiene plus silktouch WAS my favorite and only glove I used, please change back to what this product was!

You have destroyed what was an excellent product – Hygiene plus silk touch glove are the uncomfortable glove. Once your hands sweat or are a little damp they become impossible to get off without a struggle. They are then hard to get on and become a bit sticky. I’ve thrown them in the bin. I really wish you’d go back to old product as I get dermatitis from detergents and I depend on your product but not this new fit and feel.

Loyal customer flees new and so not improved – I have been buying these for several years. I was as loyal a customer as you could have but they changed the formulation and I am allergic to the new and so not improved version. These are now the same awful thing as everything else. Bring back the old version please.

Bring back the old feel!! – These were the only gloves I was comfortable wearing. They stayed relatively dry inside and were easy to get on and remove. Not so, any more!! Upset enough to write a bad review! – I have been buying these gloves for years, and now find that I will have to look for another brand to take their place. The "new fit and feel" gloves are extremely difficult to get on and off, especially after they are wet. The "old fit and feel" were perfect and I cannot understand why they have changed, unless it is something to do with cost cutting. I use gloves a lot as I have very dry hands and am at a loss now as to what to buy.

NEW FIT is way too big where previously they were a perfect fit - the size guide on the back of the pack has completely changed! So a medium before is suddenly now supposed to be a small? The NEW FEEL is no longer smooth on the outside (now has ridges) but slippery on the inside just like cheap rubber gloves - as a result I can't feel what I am washing up and keep dropping things. Thankfully I had only bought one pair this time! Very unhappy about this change of product!! Unfortunately I will have to search for another alternative as I definitely won't be buying these again.

experiment once again to find the 'Perfect Glove' for my household chores. Fortunately, I purchased these in multiples so still have some of the older styles. :(

years, a batch at a time but now will have to hunt around to see if I can find anything similar to the old type. It's important to me as I do a lot of washing up by hand. I intend to phone the company's phone number when they're open tomorrow and let them know how I feel.

The new Hygiene Plus has disappointed us – I have been buying this brand for ever and had a pair each for gardening, cleaning, hand washing, dishwashing. and while contacting the " Talk to us " line, I am not the only one. I was told to return the gloves to the store, so the supplier will became aware of the mistake they have made.

Please, bring the original style back to us.

"New Fit and Feel" not good – I've been using this product for many many years. My favourite washing up gloves. Now there is a "New Fit and Feel" which no longer fits me (my usual "medium" is now too large and "small" is too small). Also the length has increased, which I did not need and I find them uncomfortable. Please, please, please return to the old style.

The BEST in dishwashing/cleaning gloves on the market! – These simply are the best gloves I have ever found. They're comfortable and don't absorb smells like a lot of gloves. I love them to bits! Not easy to get though. Wish all Woolworths carried them! I always seem to have to chase round the countryside for them.

this is a waste of money – I bought Hygiene Plus silktouch confortable glove and the right hand thumb, after 3 uses got a hole in it. I bought this especially because it states on the package "coated fingertips for strength". this is very disappointing as I love the texture of the glove and its appearance is very good bad advertising as it states "coated fingertips for strength"

Hygiene Plus Silktouch – These are wonderful all purpose gloves with a soft and luxurious feel. They are strong, stylish,well fitting, and are also extremely long wearing. I find them very comfortable to wear over a long period of time and they are excellent for using on a daily basis. I highly recommend them. Comfortable to wear.
