**Badly irritated and burned my eyes!** This is *supposed to be* a preservative-free product, but I can tell you with total certainty that the drops contain a chemical that is highly irritating to at least some people. I would wake multiple times at night with my eyes gritty and glued shut, apply more of these drops, only for it to happen again a… Read more

few hours later, but worse. At first I thought it was my eyes getting drier and drier, but then I thought "Maybe it's the drops?" So I stopped the drops — huge improvement.

The good news is that I have found a solution. I make my own drops now, using *plain rock salt* (NOT commercial table salt!) in chlorinated tap water, 9g salt in one litre of water (or 4.5g in 500ml water, etc). I dispense these drops from a plain brown glass dropper available from Amazon and many other places. These drops cost almost nothing, do the job perfectly, and have no negative impact (unlike HyloForte, there is no Citric Acid or other irritants). The savings over my lifetime are going to be enormous!

Impossible to use. I actually needed a pair of pliers to remove the cap on the bottle, the same with the other two bottles I had on prescription. As for actually using it, you were supposed to hold your bottom eyelid down before squeezing the large round button on the bottle. The button was so hard to press it needed two thumbs to do it so I… Read more

couldn't use the drops. Continually pressing the button, no liquid came out. Waste of NHS money, all three bottles went in the bin unused.

Very difficult dispenser to use for my age, mid 70's. That wasn't the only problem, made my eyes really red and blurry, felt like something in my eyes . Have had to stop using after a few days as the effects were getting worse. Horrible and expensive.

This bottle was obviously NOT designed by industrial designers its over engineered and under performs. Very difficult to get drops out, when you do, because of the effort to push down on the plunger (Its too stiff) you might get 1/3 a drop in your eye. You go again and you get 2-3 drops all over the place. I bought it this afternoon and will go and get a competitor brand so I dont get any more frustration and I get what I set out to do.

The best eye drops I have used for my dry eyes. My optometrist recommended them for me. Hylo- forte keeps my dry eyes lubricated for several hours. The dispenser is a bit hard to use at first but after a day or two I was used to it. It is a bit on the expensive side but this is offset by not needing to use them as often as other eye drops.

Talk about reinventing the wheel Outrageously over priced for a mechanism that needs juggling skills, wastes drops required by priming it. I dont care how much they cost but 38 for a unwieldy pump action eye drop that you struggle to keep from… Read more

hitting eyeball as you press in. Dont buy from priceline. Sick of being ripped off. DIFFICULT if not impossible for anyone with arthritis to use. Awkward method of application and extraction of drops. Older people who struggle with dry eye will find it very difficult to use.

Follow-up  · Have tried this new design now for a month but am not impressed. It shoots a lot of liquid far more than I am happy with, causing a lot of waste and i have better control using a standard style drops bottle. I have now reverted to standard eye drop plastic bottle, much smaller less weight and a small liquid gel for one eye issue. At least 20 plus… Read more

I am in my 70s and these eye drops were recommended to me for dry eyes. I have a bad shoulder and cannot lift my arm very high. The bottle is large awkward to use and I have found it impossible to hold up to my eye and than pump it to get a drop of fluid out of it. Waste of time and money. I have no idea if the drops would be effective because the design prevents use.

Eye drop for teary and dry eyes – I went to see my Optometrist due to my eyes dryness and teary. He recommended to buy Hylo-Forte which I did straight away. I am using it for the fast 4 days now. Its supposed to be 2mg/ml, its terrible, I used and kedp on pressing the bottom part so the liquid will go to my eyes, but its seems nothing left. I cant believe it, after 3 days none left? and its very expensive. I dont think I will recommend it to somebody if they ask me.

Hylo Forte eye drops are great. ⭐ – I love these drops. I hold onto the container over one eye with one hand & pump the bottom with the other hand. Only one drop comes out. The drops work well for me. A little pricey but you don't waste any like you do with squeezy container.

A waste of money – The least user friendly of all eye drops I've used. It's hardly possible to land a single drop in your eye with the ridiculous pump action. Over priced and a time wasting experience if you want fast relief.

Difficult to use, too much waste – Very difficult to use these drops, with the pump mechanism of the bottle. almost impossible to get a drop into the eye . Not very user friendly They drops maybe good if you could actually get one to land in your eye. What a waste of money $29.00

Good product at rip off price .. $35 for 10 ml – Good product but highway robbery … $35 for 10ml … for what other product do you pay $35 for 2 teaspoons of liquid. Just too expensive for those needing it daily for dry eyes there is no way that cost can be justified. The manufacturer should be ashamed ..

Expensive and not ethical as medicine is still in bottle without use – Very expensive and liquid is not coming out of the dispenser. The company literally looting customers. I have used at least 4-5 and every time I can feel there are lot of drops but nothing coming out of dispenser. Somehow I managed to open it and boom there are about 1/3 bottle still with eye drops. Unethical practice by company. Where should I complain this.

Over priced and targeted to rip off customers – This is one of the most expensive lubricating eye drop. Too big on price but too low on quantity, only 10ml. On top of that, they are pure rippers. After using it for some time, the bottle emptied and stopped dispensing. I somehow managed to open the casing to see if the liquid has actually finished....but to my surprise there was about a quarter… Read more

of the solution still inside the dispenser. I'm not really sure how ethical is this business practice?

Lovely milk....packaging improvement – We only use farmdale lactose free milk, and a lot of it (coffee, cereal etc). The complaint we have is with the method of opening the carton. The ring pull inevitably breaks away and then the foil sealant needs to be opened up with a pointy knife, sometimes the foil breaks away and inevitably ends up in the milk. There are other better systems available. Thank you.

Bad dispenser design – Who designed this clunky most rediculous applicator. Don't waste your money. You'll be lucky if you succeed in getting an actual drop in your eye. Using this dispenser is like juggling. Stick to products that use a simple eye dropper bottle

Poorly designed dispenser lid – The drops are great and the push-bottom dispenser is effective. But the cone shaped lid is very difficult to grip and pull off! The grooves on the lid need to be at the wide end, not at the tip, to provide something to grip to. Annoying to struggle to open it EVERY TIME

Great product and I don’t know how I can live without it! BUT something happened with packaging in last 6 months or so – My last two dispensers were faulty, not spaying as in the past. I have to waste few drops and press few times to get a drop in my eye. In the past it was one press one drop. price is up but quality of dispenser is rubbish. Please review. I also pass my feedback to my optometrist and she said few people have similar feedback. Sorry but 2 is a… Read more

pattern. I was hoping only first was faulty but not. Would definitely take third back to pharmacy as I am keep wasting money on buying new ones.

Useless – This has to be the most useless dispenser I have ever used. This product should be half the price cause you get more on your face then in your eye every time

change the lid colour – I have used the product for 6 months, recommended by my optician. Love the product, & the measured dose. BUT!!! please change the colour of the lid. Your customers all have eye problems & a clear lid is just silly & frustrating. I have wasted a lot of time looking for the lid. Suggest Blue to match the label?

Difficult to use applicator and expensive – The Hyloforte drops is good but not fantastic. Been using for a week and while I think it's marginally better than other lubricant drops on the market, I don't think it's worth 3 times the price. As per other reviews, I also don't think the applicator is user-friendly or good for the environment. I have excellent fine motor skills and yet found… Read more

that I needed to use both hands so the drops don't "shoot off target". I usually waste 1 or 2 drops each time so that's about 50% wastage. Is it necessary to have a pump for an eye drop? I don't think so, and it's a lot of plastics going into the bin after a month. I really hope URSAPHARM can redesign a more efficient and more environmentally friendly applicator and probably cheaper to produce as well? We don't need a "Rolls Royce" version of eye lubricant. Just my 2 cents.

Not the most effective for my eyes – I have been using halo forte for last 6 weeks. Before that I used Systane Ultra Halo is about 30$ and Systane about 10$ for 10 ml I do no get instant relief with hylo but with Systane I do. I don’t know why hylo is $30 Plus you apply Hylo 3 to 4 times a day where’s as Systane is once per 24 hrs. Going back to Systane and see what happens Thanks

Instant relief ! – Fabulous instant relief from dry scratching eyes. Pump pack accurate + easier to use than normal drops. One drop lasted 3-4 hours. Preservative free. Very impressed + comfortable to use long-term. No filmy feel. Definitely worth the money.

Too difficult to use – The drops work fine when I can get them into my eye and not on my cheek. The dispenser is too difficult to use - there are 300 drops in the container and I reckon that I have wasted 200 of those trying to get a drop in the right place.

Cost more than double the cost of normal eye drops and difficult to use – These were promoted by chemist as stronger for treatment of dry eye. The pump pack delivered me exactly 7 drops ....an d no more. I needed to pump the pack over and over to get a drop in my eye. At 30.00 a pack it's a lot of money for little result. Will not purchase this again. Not able to comment on efficacy of product as there wasn't enough to try for even two days.
