Attentive staff – Always get a good advice and very thorough here.Been going there for a long tine now and am very happy. The staff are very experienced and nothing is too much trouble.
Lovely doctors. Grumpy receptionists! – I've been a patient at the Hypermarket Medical Centre, Aspley, Brisbane, ever since it opened. The reception area has plenty of seating. Nice black/green chairs. There are plenty of brochures, & there is also a pathology lab on site, so no having to go elsewhere to get blood work done. This is a real bonus. Lots of free parking outside. The best thing about this medical centre are the doctors. All very nice & pleasant when they come out to greet patients in the reception area. I'm very happy with my Indian doctor. His bedside manner is top notch. He always has a smile, listens to what I tell him, & is never in too much of a hurry to get me out the door. Is very caring & nice. I couldn't ask for a nicer dr.
The worst thing about this medical centre are the receptionists! I've never come across a bunch of grumpier receptionists in my whole entire life! They are awful. When people walk into a medical centre, they are unwell, & the last thing they need is to be greeted by a receptionist who doesn't smile. They don't speak very nicely to the patients either. A visit to "the school of manners" wouldn't go astray for most of them. Personally, I don't care how a medical receptionist speaks to me. I pay to see the dr. Not the receptionist. But their brusque manner is not good, isn't good for the business, & would bother some patients a lot. Some might not want to go back again.
Because of how I've seen the receptionists speak to patients, I'm only giving this medical centre 4 stars. The doctors are super nice. I think its a medical centre worth going to, if you haven't been before. If you can look past the grumpy women at the front desk, you'll be fine.
