Found me farm work for the 2nd year visa – I needed the farm work to extend my visa one more year. I could not find it anywhere because of the coronavirus it has been a tough time. But iBackpacker helped me out and actually found me a good job with hourly rates, If you need the 2nd year visa work done, it is worth it to use them for sure.

It works - Best way to find farm work in Australia – They definitely have the best farm job offers on any of the job board I went on in Australia. I paid to become a featured member as there were not many offers going elsewhere. I called and emailed a few of the employers from the site as most of them list their details right on the ads, and within a few days I found a farm work job in Mareeba Queensland. Recommended if you need to get your 88 days done!

don't fall for it! – This site is a scam, they post a lot of jobs that don't actually exist. You see the same jobs at facebook groups like Backpackers Jobs, all posted by fake accounts. Save yourself the money!

It's a SCAM – They want you to pay to apply for jobs but none of the jobs are actually real and none of the employers are actually hiring. they just want your money.

Finally found a farm job – I am a backpacker travelling Australia from England and wanted to extend my visa, so needed to find a farm to work 88 days at. I checked gumtree and found mostly jobs where you get paid per piece of fruit you pick which I heard back things about. I then paid $49 to iBackpacker to help find me a better job, and it took them nearly 3 weeks but in the end I got a good one near Cairns and it is paid hourly! Show reply

A TOTAL SCAM – Upon seeing the amount of job listings on this site I could absolutely justify paying the $49. After applying for over 60 Jobs in a two week period and not hearing a single thing back I started to become suspicious. When I decided this app was not for me and tried to cancel my subscription I started to PANIC because it is IMPOSSIBLE to do so. They… Read more

do not have an account management page ANYWHERE and don't respond to emails or Facebook messages. I have now spent over a week trying to get refunded or at the very least stop them from being able to withdraw from my account every month. I have made a report to PayPal and if that doesn't work, my last resort is cancelling my card. I am currently backpacking and do not have an address to send a new credit card to which means iBackpacker have left me in an INCREDIBLY vulnerable position. Please don't let them put you in my situation!! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY.

Used it to find farm workers – I got better applicants and workers with ibackpacker compared to when I used gumtree so I would recommend it for farmers who need lots of backpackers. i also like the employer interface compared with other websites. Show reply

Complete Scam – Do not be like me and naively pay the $49 to sign up. Trust me when I say this is a complete and utter scam. Besides the fact the site doesn't even function its all a load of nonsense. Perhaps the jobs are real, but they are not even sending the applications on in my opinion. Also there is not an area on the site where you can cancel the… Read more

subscription, they charge you continuously after the fact with new charges. Only way I could stop it was to cancel the card itself. sends you on a goose chase through these outrageous terms and conditions that scream scam so hard they are nearly comical. Somewhat less when you have actually fallen foul, yet nonetheless.

Screw this site, screw these vultures and keep your money!

Scam Website – This website allowed backpacker to register for free as a basic member, but you can only access employer's contact after you pay $49 to upgrade as a featured member to be able to access employer's contact. They copied employers' advertisement from other website and posted on their website without the consent of the employers. The similar issue… Read more

happened to our company twice in 2 months and I had made them to delete the job advertisement from their website.

It is fine if they share the link of my job advertisement, but to post my advertisement in their website and make job seeker to pay in order to be able to access employer's contact detail is unacceptable.
