Ibanez SGE430

How do they do it? – I bought this very nice guitar today from a local music store for $225.00. With the exception of new but poorly wound strings the instrument looks to be new. It does not have the huge pickguard that most picture I've seen have, and since I am not a country buff I said 'Amen" to that. It looks nice with no pick guard. Ibanez alway has monster sized headstocks on their instruments, which while I'm not crazy about certainly is a signature characteristic. For me after playability is considered, it's all about tone. This big boy has tone to spare. Big, rich, woody, deep tones. Sounds I would not expect in a guitar anywhere near that price. Nice find for me. Check one out, it might be a nice find for you! It has very nice rich deep tone that will be sweet to record with, and a very playable neck. It's big. It's about as big as they get. That's okay cause I'm a big guy, but it could be too much guitar for a small or medium sized player.
