This is a great idea – The perfect way to hide your identity so no one can steal your personal information. It saves a lot of shredding. I should know all about that as I have been shredding a lot of old paperwork. Show details

Stamp security – Works well, but must let dry, doesn't work well on papers that have a plastic coating. Colour covers thickly and you may need to run over several times. The container its self is compact and user friendly Show details

Waste of money – Product is useless and it explains why only 30 day "warranty" refund period is given. Initially, I found that it does not always make the print underneath unreadable. I purchased a buy-one-get-one-free offer, so I decided not to return it. However, now at 60 days, i have used it on approx 20-25 pages and the ink is nearly exhausted and it is useless. It won't protect anything with the current darkness of the stamp.

I haven't bothered opening the second one, but based on this experience, I estimate that it may be useful for a total of 40-50 pages combined from both stamps, so at $50, this is $1 per page.

Toys for fools who rush in. Fake junk that ironically lowers your bank account – It's just another fake gimmicky product that makes you think it will ease the terrible pain of life. The ink is easily removed with methylated spirits and the original cured ink on your documents remains for all to see. The TV ad is laughable. The word fake is actually in the ad. $39.95c? Waste of money – Waste of money. In spite of multiple applications all information is still easy to read. Misleading and false advertising. Similar to using heavy black permanent texta as information still legible. Show details

Great product – Love my ID Guard. Much faster than shredding. I do find that on some medical labels that the ink doesn't seem to want to adhere, thus still being able to read names etc. on the label. Overall a very quick and easy solution to identity theft. Show details

Saves shredding everything – The ID guard works well on most paper surfaces but not on paper that has a gloss finish to it,like brochures that come in the mail.However it has certainly cut down on the correspondence that I have to put through the shredding machine. This product is a waste of money – Useless, this product does not do what is claimed in their ads. Even rolling over names and numbers numerous times proves to be unsatisfactory - you can still read everything! Save your money for something that works.

It's an excellent invention! – I LOVE it. The only downfall is that, the ink doesn't dry quick enough. But, otherwise..... I find it perfect to wipe out confidential information on paperwork before throwing the papers in the recycling bin.

recycling bin! The id guard stamp really works, you cannot read the information from either side of the paper after you have covered it with the stamp ! So good.

ID Guard – Perfect! I used to use a permanent marker to black out my details on mailing labels and most times one can still see the details when you put it at an angle. With ID guard, it inks over very well and the security printing completely obscures m details to a point you can read it, so it's great and what I was looking for. Show details

Cover up – I looked for something that I can use if I didn't want to get my shredder out all the time. This does the job. Though may need to do second coverage to ensure complete coverage. Some times you can still read text underneath. This could be a problem as you don't want personal data to be readable. Overall this isn't bad but not perfect. Still need my shredder. Show details
