whatever fancy your tastebuds. At times, I do want to put my laptop on it but unfortunately it won't fit in properly. You could flip over the tray so the surface is flat but run the risk of scratching off the paint where the tray meets the supporting legs.

I love its standard size - 53cm tall and 44cm diameter tray. Most IKEA placemats will fit into the tray beautifully and you can swap over the tray for wooden tray - Skala (001.765.51) making it softer and more fancy or if you need a lighter top to match your oak floorboard or furnitures. 53cm is about the height of most lounge chair armrests which is perfect.

Priced at mere $15, the Gladom is a no brainer for any home.
