Stainless steel rusts badly, some design features could be improved – While the product concept is great (a kitchen sink without cabinetry that you can adjust to your needs) there are some features that could be improved. The steel quality is not great- it rusts badly with some severe pitting (I am a corrosion scientist) and the raised edge around the sink means that it doesn't drain into the sink but water runs onto the floor. Why couldn't they sell an integrated sink top instead of the cumbersome installation which takes a lot of time? The edges of the fittings used to secure the sink in place are very sharp and there is no easy way to stop small children poking their fingers inside- again, an integrated sink would avoid this.

Despite this, it is the best thing I have found for the purpose (a small kitchen in off grid cabin) and uses the available space really well. There are opportunities to make a sink cover which would fit over the sink and allow better cutting space. I am putting a plywood board above mine to hold a drying rack (Ikea one), small shelves and a LED flexible light and a place which I will screw onto the wall and can remove when I properly line and insulate the cabin. The washing up bowl design is not great as the holes in both ends mean water can flow out and gets all over the place. Would be better to have no hole and handles on the outside.
