Why have l had to replace the fan inside of heater third time

I have a 2021 model gfx-s-v the fan kicks in and out when in use is this normal or is the fan meant too work constantly?
Hi, couldn't get my log fire going, only pilot light would work, I tried to jump the Th tp and the Th terminals with a wire and presto the main burner started, what am I missing with my log fire?? On the inside of the fascia behind some sticky tape I found some black wire with white plugs on the ends, but instructions on the inside of the fascia it has a diagram to wire these to FM box?? What is an FM box?? Thanks Tony .

My remote control receiver is different to the one shown in manual Mine is white and it is not pairing with the remote Instructions as/manual are useless as mine does not have ON RS OFF slider switch
Hi, if you have a white remote I assume your fire place is some years old. White remotes will not have a receiver to pair with only a control board inside. You will need to contact the service department to schedule a technician visit for a repair, hope this helps.
Is July 2018 some years old or just a few?
Hi Michael, 2018 model should have a remote receiver inside the heater. May be best to contact the service department with some pictures so they can identify the model for you.

Cannot get my LUMINAR 6000 remote to pair with the heater to switch it on and control the temperature . Have changed batteries in heater & remote. There doesn’t seem to be a program or learn switch, I can light it manually but when I put the switch from on to remote it switches off.
We have a luminar 4000 which is brand new and we have a problem getting it to work. We have not received a manual and no idea where to start. Please help.

Hello, my question is, I have an ultimate illusion gas heater model 40/33/70/63, the problem is when I turn it on, the main burner works well, but it is not distributed over all parts of the heater, only the main burner works, what do you think is the problem, and what is the solution

Hi. Just had the illusion Luminar 4000 put in and the flames are blue. How can I adjust the flames to get them more like a roaring yellow flames fire like in all the videos

Hi my Illusion gas log fire is about three years old and I’ve noticed that one of the logs at the back isn’t glowing so it looks like there’s a gap in the fire. The pilot and burners are all working but just have this black gap in the back right hand side of the fire
Rosina, Sorry, I can't help you. I am a consumer just like you who, I feel, made the same mistake as I did and bought an Illusion heater. I should have stuck with my original idea which was to buy a Jetmaster. I went with Australian-made because it seemed the right thing to do. No, it wasn't!
Hello, Tony here, I have a millennium 40 gas log fire, great heater had no issues with it over the years, Unfortunately the remote control (Ultimate cream colour 4 buttons) is working intermittently, you cannot start the heater without it. I contacted the gas installer who installs these heaters for Illusion (WA) and he told me I need to buy a whole new heater as the new remote control units cannot be fitted to the older units. Is that correct??? Thankyou for your reply.
Tony, I can't tell you if what they say is correct. I can only reinforce what I have said, and think, about Illusion - they have a crap product and, even worse, they don't seem to care! Customer care is just and ILLUSION! We made the big mistake of not buying a Jetmaster in the first place.

I cannot get my ultimate 32 millennium remote to light the gas log fire. It will light manually but not with the remote. I have changed the batteries in the remote without success. The fan will work with the remote but not the fire. I cannot find the receiver box at the front of the panel to change the batteries as shown on you tube. Can you please help. Thanks Brian.

Thank you for your reply l was informed by the gas tech that the parts for this model were unavailable as it has been discontinued. Is there any way l can have this fixed? This was not an ultimate service tech btw. Thank you Brian.
Yes they can fix it by upgrading your remote system to the system used today. Please call service they can give you the information.

We have a Lumanaire 600 and we press on and off at the same time and this toggles between Fahrenheit and Celcius
Hi there - we have an esprit 62. It’s working fine apart from the fact it decides to switch itself on randomly. Like in the middle of a really warm day, or in the middle of the night. I’ve resorted to switching of the pilot unless I need to use it which is a hassle and by the sounds of these other posts, not good for the heater. The remote is very mysterious. It has 2 modes - one called ‘ROOM’. When ROOM is enabled, I can adjust temp settings with the ‘SET’ button. Toggling these modes doesn’t appear to change the behaviour. The only other buttons on the remote are OFF and ON. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi we were advised not to turn the pilot light off because it can rust from condensation. Not sure what’s turning off. But if the fan turning off it could be the fan bearing earthing out. Well that’s what happened to us. We don’t have the remote so can’t help with that we went with a switch
