Got scammed – On the 8th of December I had multiple transactions taken from my account from this company. I had never heard of them before this. When I called to let them know, the reaction was as if this was normal, like they always get these calls. I did receive all my money back from the bank however, I think this company are scamming peoples money.
rip off credit card fees – I took a taxi from Sydney CBD to the cruise terminal in Sydney. I was charged an additional 10% for using a credit card on the 20th Nov 2019. Total rip off, credit card charges are part of doing business'. I took a taxi as apposed to an uber, I should have use uber.
Additional fees added – Yesterday took a cab from Adelaide cbd to Lockleys and instead of the usual $28 fare it was $39. Queried charge with driver and he advised it was a credit card surcharge. I was astonished as this had never happened before. I have checked my receipt and it is an Ingogo Taxi. Will never use them again. $11 extra, what a rort. I will waste my time writing to Ingogo and see what they say.
Scammers – Allowed a scammer to charge over $200 to my credit card... Had to cancel my card to stop the payments. Do not trust them at all! You need to try harder to be less crap
staff is very humble and polite – ingogo staff is very experince, humble and polite. I encountered a problem and call to unni ( ingogo staff member). He came to me and solve that problem in minutes. Thanks to all ingogo staff
Theft – Stole 700 dollars of my money via a fraudulent customer, told it takes up to 7 working days to refund. Too easy for them to take the money and not return it, I don't even use their services!
Used twice now - agreed fixed price was honoured at the end of the trip – My experiences with using the Ingogo app has actually been consistent ... ... fare wise, what was agreed and accepted in the phone app was honoured at the end of the trip. At the end of the day, Ingogo is just a third party booking company that cab drivers may or may not choose to use - the cab drivers tell me Ingogo simply takes a % commission… Read more
at the end of the trip. I've done 4 trips so far this year with Ingogo - 3 of them business, and all have been fine - no payment required to the driver given it's deducted automatically via the app.
... bad thing though, is the Tax Invoice that Ingogo emails to you. It's basic, rudimentary, and plain embarrassing - the map and Ingogo graphics are consistently out of proportion, making the Tax Invoice look like a joke. It does not pass for a profession Tax Invoice capable of submission to your company's expense system. On this count alone, I won't be using Ingogo anymore for business trips because I've had to email them TWICE for a corrected Tax Invoice over the course of 6 months ie. they haven't even fixed this basic problem.
But the fixed price fare is good for private trips where I don't need a Tax Invoice. Fix this and I would have given Ingogo 4 stars.
disgusting service and unnecessary extra fees – Couldn't justify the "extra" fees. I was charged $20 extra for credit card fees and also for dropping 2 other friends off on the way home. never catching Ingogo again.
Taxi driver lied about the metered fare and charged $98 instead of $79 – Terrible service with smelly car and excessive surcharge of extras without justifications. Taxi driver almost got in a fight with another driver and he wasn’t objective with applying the charges.
No show - dont use! – Booked a taxi for a $14 journey, taxi driver accepted but was able to get away with posting a false rego and phone number. Then they didn't show up and i missed my train. No way of contacting them and website didn't work properly either. Don't waste your time! Use someone/anyone else!
They take no responsibility – If something goes wrong “we are just a booking service” so good luck trying to get your mobile phone back! Use UBER, heaps cheaper AND you can phone the driver immediately to bring your phone back.
No show – Booked 2 ingogo taxis for the next day 1 - no show!! No customer service whatsoever and no notifications. Almost missed the flight. Never use again, Uber saved the day.
Dishonest Ingogo Taxi added excessive charge – Recently on a Saturday night around 8pm I entered a cab with my parents who just arrived into Melbourne from Southern Cross. When I told the driver where we were headed he thought about it then said get in. While we were chatting i could see he was pushing a few buttons and then saw a $7 charge pop up. When I asked the driver what the charge was… Read more
he replied, "I'm giving you a good deal"
A ride that should have cost $13 ended up being $21 and when I filed a complaint INGOGO replied:
"We have just been in touch the driver regarding your overcharge complaint. He has advised that although he agrees that $21.00 seems to be a bit much for the trip in question, he would have only charged what the meter amount was at the end of the trip and therefore hasn't authorized a refund in this instance"
Not much help and severely RIPPED OFF!!
Don't catch INGOGO taxis!! INGOGO are as helpful as a chicken scratching at dirt! and their INGOGO payment systems allow cabs to add charges without you even knowing CROOKS.
