Don't use this company (Purslowe and Chipper) for your loved ones funeral – We had a terrible experience and when we were invited to give Feedback via WeCare Portal, it was ignored.

Unreliable employers – InvoCare Australia is the convolutedly created entity that runs a great percentage of the Australian Funeral industry and does it very largely on the back of its empoyees and unfortunate contractors. Through companies such as Simplicity, White Lady, Blackwell's and others, most of the fiuneral services are conducted or officiated by professional Funeral celebrants, who, until recently, enjoyed a good rapport and working partnership with each of these companies, with never a problem or delay in the payment of fees. These usually being paiid on the day of the serice or a day or two later, but no later than that..

Sadly, InvoCare decided to replace all the proven and established methods of appointment, employment and payment of Celebrants (and other contractors) in recent times with the result that some of the fees due have often remained unpaid for an inordinate length of time, some reportedly for almost twelve months,

The system of engaging celebrants and the immensely complicated and self-contradictory instructions for invoicing routines that celebrants are absolutely obliged to abide by has been a disaster and InvoCare's communications is, if anything, even worse. It is no wonder that this creeping monopoly is suffering poor financial results. Its American operation has apparently all but diappeared after unsustainable losses. InvoCare Australia's contractors may justifiably wonder when and if they will eventuall;y be paid what is due to them.

Their only reposnes to queries and complaints are "no reply' emails that never address the problems in question.
