IQ Institute falsely advertised "Free IQ Test With Free Results." (See Image) This was totally misleading. After completing the IQ test, which I will agree was free, I was unable to access my results for free as advertised. Users results are only available after signing up and paying for a recurring subscription.
The iq-institute.org platform me again without notice terrible experience. There was no clear explanation or prior warning, and attempts to contact support were completely ignored
Nothing about iq-institute.org felt honest or transparent. The site presented itself as a legitimate IQ testing platform, but the results were generic, and hidden charges appeared later without warning
Refund promises were empty - nothing was ever returned. Multiple attempts to contact support were ignored, and it felt like the company had no intention of honoring their commitments
Completely untrustworthy - misleading test, hidden payments, and no refunds. The whole experience felt deceptive, and customer support was unhelpful when trying to resolve issues
The results were fake, and hidden charges made it worse. What seemed like a simple test turned into a frustrating scam with no transparency and no way to get proper support or refunds
The test felt like a scam, and the billing confirmed it , leaving me frustrated, misled, disappointed, and completely regretting my decision to trust this service
I visited iq-institute.org one day when researching intelligence theories, thinking I’d find something unique. Instead I found posts that read like general background fluff. Nothing new, nothing spicy. It’s well-written and professional, and that makes it almost worse—because the polish raises expectations. I felt like I was eating a fine crust… Read more
with hardly any filling. Nice presentation, but ultimately insubstantial. I left feeling vaguely let down, wishing there’d been more thought-provoking content.
Kind of shady feeling. Not illegal, just… confusing. Paywalls everywhere, cancellation hidden, support silent. Makes you nervous about putting in card details.
Honestly, I’ve seen higher-quality IQ tests in cheap puzzle magazines. This one just had poor grammar, awkward translations, and a strange obsession with collecting personal information.
I kept hoping the site would improve as I explored more of it, but sadly, it only got worse. There’s little depth to any of the content, and it’s difficult to find anything useful.
As a psychologist, I checked the site out of curiosity. The IQ test lacks any rigor or structure. It’s borderline pseudoscience. Yet they have no hesitation about charging you real money—repeatedly.

I checked forums before posting this — so many iq-institute reviews describe the same pattern. Useless results, surprise charges, no help. This is not an isolated case.
One-time payment? That’s the illusion. I was hit with another $25 deduction the next week and had to dispute it with my bank. It’s a trap disguised as a test.
There’s zero transparency. Nothing on the site clearly says you’re signing up for a subscription. Once you pay, you're stuck — no account settings, no support.
I was skeptical after seeing five-star reviews everywhere, so I dug deeper. Turns out all the reliable review sites are flooded with warnings. Looks like they manipulate their reputation through fake feedback and selective display
Their site shows amazing ratings and testimonials, but after checking independent platforms, I found mostly angry complaints. The contrast is suspicious. It’s obvious they’re curating or fabricating the positive reviews to look credible.
They lure you in with a fake ‘free’ test and then enroll you in a paid subscription without your knowledge. I had no idea I was signing up for recurring payments.
It’s almost impossible to find where to cancel on the site. The interface is designed to keep you confused while they continue billing your card in the background.
After paying a small fee to see my score, I didn’t expect to be enrolled in a subscription. The charges kept coming, and there was no indication upfront that this would happen.
"I thought I was paying $1.95 for an IQ test on iq-institute, but ended up being billed $50 over the next month. There were no visible terms, no warnings, and no follow-up emails. The interface is intentionally vague to trap users into ongoing payments. Looking through various customer opinions, it’s apparent this site operates with bad intentions. iq-institute should be flagged and avoided at all costs."

The test on iq-institute is laughably basic — it doesn't measure intelligence in any meaningful way. But worse, the site tricks you into what looks like a one-time payment, then quietly locks you into a recurring subscription. I had to call my bank to block future charges. Reading other user experiences, it’s clear I’m not alone. iq-institute uses manipulative design to deceive users. Don't fall for it.
"I took what seemed like a simple IQ test on iq-institute, thinking it was a one-time fee of a couple dollars. A week later, I noticed my card was being charged $25 weekly — with zero notice or consent. There was no clear subscription warning, and the cancellation process was nonexistent. It feels like a scam disguised as a quiz. This isn’t just… Read more
my story — countless testimonials echo the same shady billing tactics. Avoid iq-institute unless you want to waste time disputing unauthorized payments."
The iq-institute experience was completely disappointing. I trusted what seemed like a simple offer, but after reading more reviews, I saw just how many others were misled. The recurring charges, the lack of support, and the invisible subscription terms make this site feel fraudulent.
I was shocked when I saw $29 taken from my card again. I only signed up for a one-time test. There's no way to manage the subscription or even see your billing info.
You can’t view what you’ve paid for, and they don’t even provide full access to your own test results. I expected an IQ report, maybe some breakdown or context — instead I got a generic number and a recurring charge that had nothing to do with value.
The more I looked into this company, the more disturbing it got. Dozens of users report the exact same thing: misleading payment setup, silent recurring billing, no support. I’m shocked this hasn’t been flagged more widely.
I read the fine print after the fact, and even then it was vague. No mention of exact billing frequency or charge amounts. Just legal filler designed to confuse and protect them while they quietly bill people in the background.
What really upset me wasn’t just the surprise charges — it was the fact that I had no access to any billing history, no cancellation button, and no way to manage the so-called subscription. The site offers no transparency. It’s not just shady, it feels downright predatory.
