Excellent – If you can get your hands on one(Not sure why iRiver stopped making it), its worth its weight in GOLD, because theres no other MP3 that plays & records so professionally in Fact the Hard drive is a Toshiba drive with very high quality electronics the size of a credit card! The sound quality hardware is very high, not surprising cause a whole lot… Read more

of ex Sony Engineers regrouped and formed iRiver. Did you know for $20 Aus I brought an iPod 2nd Gen Battery from Jaycar in Sydney and its 100% compatible replacement, I just replace mine so get another 3-4 years use, very Happy! If you attach for example a Professional stereo Microphone such as a Panasonic one, the recording and clarity is unbelievable even at a distance of 150m can almost hear a caterpillar scratch paper!!!its really that good! Try it out! I think for value and clarity and for what it does even 4 years later when it was top of the market, from when i brought it is astonishing, eg Professional clarity recording(no Toy Mp3!) FM Stereo Radio tuner with good quality reception, Power lasts for hours & hours!

I'ved used it everyday never a day without it, really good value! iRiver H340 is a very Durable unit, in fact bloody strong, dropped it numerous times and 4 years later its still humming & running well, truck everything, photos, music you name it. A little bit big width wise, but thats because its built tough but not too much of hindrance cause it does fit in your Trouser or tracksuit pocket pants very snug! Be good if you could format the hard drive with NTFS file systems rather than the traditional FAT32!

OK – SWEET unit with a BITTER after taste. OTOH, it did last 2.5 years, which in this day and age of electronics is a long time (but not long enough for me). Had it for 2.5 years and LOVED it (not past tense). Great sound and recording of lectures, etc. I also digitize a lot of vinyl into it (then cut the files up w/ mp3 surgeon). These came out… Read more

great. The interface can be clunky but once you get used to it it is not too bad. The picture capability is neat but I did not really use it much. The WORST thing is that the hard drive went bad and Iriver has no after warranty repair service nor have they contracted with anyone to do this. This was a huge letdown. I many never buy another Iriver product again because of this.

Good – I loved this device. I've used it for work, transporting drawings & files with me up to site & back safely as well as putting all of my favourite photos & of course music on it. So many people I know have these, atleast 6 that I'm aware of, and they all swear by it. you can store anything you like on it as well as music & pictures. the sound… Read more

quality, the huge hard drive It's a little difficult to use initially, the lack of support for battery replacement is a real let down. Why pay $400+ for something you have to throw out once the battery has died? You can do it yourself but it's very fiddly & you risk damaging the device.

Good – Seems to a good product. the sound is excellent with the standard headphones. You can charge from your PC, otherwise I would have been stuffed till my power plug arrived. It plays a variety of formats, I'm using WMA format from windows media player as my choice. I got a great deal during a moving sale for a Retravision store - $482. Good… Read more

value for money.

Has features the others don't give at all or charge you for - eg radio, voice/music recording, Picture display, USB host (ie can copy from camera or other mp3 player without needing a PC), external battery pack.

Huge hard disk - will be able to load my entire CD collection and all my source code for my software projects (professional developer) without using anywhere near the full capacity. Its a bit heavy. My power plug was missing in the kit but will be sent to me in a few days.

Buttons are taking a bit of time to get used to, but not as bad as I was lead to believe.

Can't play while connected to PC.

The 1280x960 images I take with my camera don't look as good or as big as in the camera itself and not as good as their example images.

Excellent – I have had it for approximately 2 years and love it. I have also used it to transfer photos from my camera which works well although a little slow and will only transfer under mains power. Awesome sound, great features and has everything i need including FM stereo. Maybe just a bit too clunky, too robust.

Excellent – Absolutely love this piece of equipment. Could not live without it. Sturdy, reliable, easy to use and huge storage space. So easy to put music onto it. No extra software required. It acts just like an external drive. Battery had to be replaced after two years. Cannot delete files/songs on the unit. Have to do delete when unit is connected to computer via USB.

Excellent – overall I think the IRiver H320 is one of the best new generation MP3 players to date. i think many people would agree with me when i say it wouldnt hurt to change the look of the IRiver H320. basically everything. from the film capability to the size and earphones the only flaw of the IRiver H320 is the buttons. and the look could be improved.
