Second purchase from Jackson's - I found Schminke watercolour paints on sale for a great price, ordered Monday night, and they were delivered Wednesday! So looking forward to trying them.

I've ordered a few times from Jackson's. The prices are usually quite good and there's always been a quick response in shipping items out. But, if you receive a faulty item, forget it. No one answers the phone, there's no email address to send an email and photo, and the stupid chat bot can't help so it tells you someone from the team will… Read more

get back to you. Based on other reviews, I won't be holding my breath for a call back. The only option left is a return request, except the customer has to pay the return shipping. Not reasonable for a faulty item.

Honestly, I'm considering contacting my bank and requesting a chargeback.

to Sydney Airport (I still haven’t received my order but at least I know the carrier pigeon it was sent on has finally made it into the country). Australian customer service rarely answer the phone and more often than not do not return phone calls, they do however return emails in a reasonable time. They are generally unhelpful but I guess this is a result of what they are and are not allowed to disclose to their unappreciated customers. Terrible company to deal with.

I purchased this straight edge cutter because I cut myself quite badly with the knife that I was using and decided I needed the correct accessory for my Logan mat cutter. Franztastic! – Franz has got to be one of the most helpful representatives I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They asked the right questions, expressed genuine empathy (hard to do by email!) and really went out of their way to keep me in the loop about stock levels regarding my order.

Great specialist store – I've always found Jackson's staff to be knowledgeable – they know their products – and very responsive. sometimes flakey in its filtering: products that I know they stock don't necessarily show up in a category filter but can be found if you search directly for them. And at the moment some of the open stock products aren't loading with a colour selection page (e.g. some of the gouache lines), which makes things a bit more arduous if you're buying several colours from particular range. But these are relatively minor issues that I'm sure will be fixed in due course. Also, a couple of times I've been allowed to place orders for products that aren't actually in stock (or aren't in stock in the specified location), which can be frustrating. Finally, it would be really nice if the _product page_ could indicate whether the item was in stock in the UK and/or Australia. At present, one has to add items to the cart in order to see where they are and then edit the cart accordingly.

Delighted my favourite Art Suppliers are now in Australia – I’ve been a very happy customer of Jackson’s for a couple of years. Now that they have opened a warehouse in Australia things are going from good to excellent. It’s often hard to get exactly what’s needed in art supplies in Australia, added to which the postage from the UK can be prohibitive - those days are now gone.
