Still working well – My old account is just_thankme, which I no longer have access to, because I don't have Dodo as my ISP any more (but that's another story). Anyway the machine I have is still working well after 5 years of light use :)

Good so far – I bought this about a month ago and it seems good so far. I will say that I'm not keen on all the plastic bits and I suspect I will be needing to replace the spool holders as they seem flimsy. I can also see that the plastic card with the stitch numbers on it will probably not last long as it's also flimsy. I do like the fact that the foot controller does not need to be attached, good when you have little ones. The machine is also smooth (it's new and I expect as much) and much quieter than my previous machines, so when I'm up late sewing it doesn't disturb anyone else. I haven't done much with the machine as yet, apart from a few small tasks, so I might add more as I use it more.

So just a little update, as I thought the plastic piece with the stitch numbers is flimsy and flips down easily (I think I might just glue it to the front where they are printed on other machines). The needle threader annoys me, half the time it doesn't pull the thread through, it requires you to hold it with just enough but not too much tension to get the loop of thread through, very fiddly in my opinion, I'm guessing it's the same on other machines from Janome.

The machine is still performing well during use, I use it about once a week for about an hour or so.

Perfect – This machine has perfect (as least for me). - Easy to use (this is a big one for me!) - Jam proof - Produces a nice blanket stitch - Easy Speed adjustment - Super Quiet - The One Step Buttonhole is amazing.
