Bought a 32 inch tv which had a few problems, salesperson changed it over for another one different brand. Had it for 3 days returned it as it had a problem. Changed it for a bigger tv and different brand . All okay. No hassles dealing with jbhifi courteous , helpful , friendly. Great people will get my business again .

sent a scam text message and that the message contains name address and contact number she said she will pass it on to management and I said but what is JB HI doing about this because they have all my details she said yes I will pass it onto management and then said goodbye I said Monqiue I am still talking to you how can you be so dismissive and rude, she said I am not how about I pass you on to the manager then. I ended the phone call I was so disgusted that this individual does not care about customers nor about customers being scammed of course I would like to know what JB HI are doing so that my details aren't being hacked and for her to dismiss my call and not care is beyond disgusting I have never dealt with such poor customer service she clearly doesn't care about JB HI image

Great place for appliances and other needs – Personally I love JB HI-FI as it has so many wide varieties of televisions, games, music, computers, phones and so much more, much cheeper going here than some other stores

Bad customer service – Bought a c64 mini which has a design fault - that being that the joystick breaks at the same point due to a faulty design. this is not a isolated incident (had online shots of several others that had broken in the same area) but once I offered to show it to the department manager he said something along the lines of "that won't be necessary" and refused to look at it. He asked I return the following day (and they MIGHT replace it). I told him to give me back my receipt and the joystick as I couldn't be bothered coming back after going there already and being told that I would be looked after before i went - only to find that i was being questioned about how it broke. Was made to feel like a liar as they insisted that the breakage was my fault and said things like "I'd classify this as customer abuse and not design fault, I'm surprised that your saying this is a design fault as we haven;t seen this happen before, etc etc". They were so quick to be dismissive of the fault yet when I tried to show them multiple other reports that this was happening I was given the response of "No i dont think its necessary for me to look at that". I told them that I was promised another stick when I called but they still refused to replace due to me not taking the persons name (If i knew that it was going to be a hassle I would have been more thorough with detailing the phone conversation). All this took about 45 minutes as I was kept waiting for a fair while as they got the department manager and then again when he took the stick away and went to the back. Needless to say - I won't be buying anything from JB again.

Thank you – Wonderful courtesy and patience experienced from Nathan Parkes (manager) and Nathaniel Dixon in finding a good solution to my communication problems. They are situated at JB HIFI Caringbah (home centre, taren point rd) and i feel confident all the staff there will look after customers.

Beko Fridge – Bought a $1600 Beko fridge from JB and found the ice maker doesn't work. We also paid top $ for premium delivery. Will they replace the fridge ...nope. even the booklet didn't have a service number. A major retailer like JB HiFi should have priducts that you can trust and work. Otherwise take them back. I won't be purchasing from them again. Second time burnt!

cheapest prices always? – Not likely, find a cheaper price and they will use the excuse that the cheaper price comes from a supplier that they do not price match with. I do not recall seeing any * with exclusions to their cheapest price guarantee.

problems with logging in - it seems like JB Hifi's handling of faults leaves a lot to be desired but I haven't had any need to contact them. The "Discover" section for genres isn't great but I find if I search for an artist I like and then click the discover tab in their profile, similar artists will come up and so far they've been pretty spot on.

tried turning off and on your computer?". Wow!?

The position of management is basically - "Absolutely Not Our Problem! If a file didn't download there must be something wrong with your computer or server or ISP..." Or every other excuse they could give so as not to refund". They continue to refuse a refund of my money despite the fact that I can not open the book.

Google Play has a far more user friendly system and I highly recommend it!

Overpriced – The list of songs isn't great, and if you use a program like pandora, its free! Also I have had big issues trying to cancel and they keep charging me. service is far from usable and has not improved over the year I have used it.

The search is terrible and defies logic. The same can be said for the Discovery mode which is meant to suggest tracks/artist based on a genre but it is obviously a computer generated list and far from useful. The music offering is rather random, even mainstream artists are missing some of their most popular albums.

Not even the core functionality of this service, the playback of songs works properly.

Songs constantly stop playing, others appear to be incomplete, and some don't play at all.

It means you constantly have to go back to the browser or app to skip tracks which means the service can’t be used as a background music service. Using it at a party is impossible as songs just stop for no reason and need to be skipped manually.

The iPhone app promises some great functionality but none of it works in the expected way.

The offline mode for your favorite songs is a good idea to save on bandwidth while on the go but songs often don’t synchronize properly and my playlist is full of offline songs which are not the song they say they are. The iPhone app is also very slow and buggy which means you sometimes wait as long as 15 seconds for the app to react before you can skip a track.

The Windows Phone app must be one if not the worst app in the Windows Phone store.

I actually thought it was a fake app initially but it is the official app! Not only does it look terrible, it doesn't work at all. I have only managed to make it play 1 out of the 100 songs in my playlist. I just does not work, no matter if on WiFi or 3G or 4G.

It really is embarrassing for JB Hi-Fi to release this app.

This would all be acceptable if I hadn't paid for the service but having paid $100 for a subscription without being able to use it properly is disappointing.

It is a real shame to give JB NOW such a bad score but unfortunately JB Hi-Fi was unable to make use of its great music heritage and is offering a service which doesn't even deliver the basics. Price, Australian Company Almost everything - the basics of this service don't work
