not eligible for a refund. SOME PEOPLE DONT HAVE $100 TO JUST THROW AROUND. This has caused me immense stress.
Follow-up · They kept telling me that I wasn't eligible for a refund and then after contacting them again and writing 2 reviews about my experience on 2 different websites, they changed their mind and gave me a full refund.
Promised to assist me with Alipay and then took $ 68 from my account without advising me. Luckily the bank picked it up and immediately cancelled my card. Just Answer did NOTHING to solve my problem but left me with lots of problems

Had a chat with a suppose technician that could not fix my issue had no idea of the printer issue, tried getting me to switch the printer off and restart which i had already done all day. It's a con then they charged me a monthly fee after claiming it was free trial.

This is a scam. It makes you believe you are going to speak to a Dr and then charges $8 for joining. No mention of a monthly subscription. Then $79 was taken off my credit card straight away. This is horrible to take money off people without informing them of it.
Follow-up · The joining fee was not clear. I didn’t get a Dr it was information from AI The $79 was for information that you can get from other sources for free

JustAnswer seems to be a scam. A couple of months ago I had a problem uploading some photos to Gumtree, and somehow (via Gumtree I recall, but could be wrong) got referred to JustAnswer. I agreed to a $2 charge (I recall, it was just a blip , but… Read more
I've just noticed two $66 charges on my credit card (immediately with the $2 AND this month again, which I didn't authorise. I've tried contacting them to get the money they took refunded, but their only contact is, you guessed it, the same bot chat window as the one that charged me in the first place :( So I'm stuck. because presumably they will charge me even more money If I ask them to "answer" how to give me my money back. I'm a Senior, but I'm reasonably tech literate. If I can't work out how to get a refund soon, I'll have to go to my credit card company and Consumer Protection WA and get them to sort it out :(
Follow-up · Justanswer to their credit refunded the payments without any squirming, after they responded to my review here. I still recommend not dealing with them but, if you have no better option, take the time to fully understand what they intend to charge you (good luck with that :). I also recommend that Justanswer take a serious look at their practices,… Read more

THEY HELPED BUT READ THE TERMS & CONDITIONS FIRST! I thought I had accidentally given my little dog too much medication and panicked. Looking up emergency vets on my phone, the link to Just Answer came up: supposedly $8 to join and ask a question of a vet. I realised after I hit the PayPal pay button that the charge was actually $101. I DID get a… Read more · 2
useful answer from a nice vet that put my mind at ease. However, because I had failed to read the T&Cs first (I wasn't thinking straight) I later realised I had set myself up for automatic subscription payments of $93/month. When subsequently asked to rate my experience with Just Answer, I explained my confusion and annoyance (and failure of comprehension) and was issued a full refund, which I very much appreciate. Good customer service is a rare commodity these days.
Month after month the deduction from my credit card continues. A$66. I used them once. Very helpful. 12 months ago. I cannot stop the payment.....that was the complaint. Just Answer got in touch immediately. Asked me the problem. Then refund the payments due to a misunderstanding. All credit to them. Thank you. Show 2 replies

I was having an issue with an online email account when all of my emails and emails stored in folders disappeared. I mistakenly thought I was connecting with my email provider. I was told there would be a $1.00 refundable charge for the Just Answer service. So I signed up. They did not solve my problem but did charge me the $1.00 + $55.00. Upon contacting them concerning my concerns and I was issued a refund. Show reply

I should have looked at the reviews before giving this website a try but I was desperate for advice on my dogs behavioural issues that feel more like issues that need a therapist if he was a human. free and that it’s just getting your prelim advice before going to an expert and then bang you have to pay before the expert will talk to you. They also make it seem like you’re getting assigned to a person that has a list of qualifications and then after you pay you actually just go to some that says “experts with no additional information. And then apart from throwing in the a random clinical word to describe what was going on. Which wasn’t the info I was looking for I already know what’s going on. What I was looking for was more than generic advice on how to help. And all they provided me was with info I can and have already researched myself. And when I tried to use the chat bot to complain it kept having constant issues and glitches. I managed to get a refund but I am p*ssed that I even spent 40 minutes of my time on this.

Called for a doctor while we were on holiday and because it was a public holiday with no doctors surgeries open. Was charged $66 to be told to go and see and doctor. Then a month later my credit card was blocked by the bank when they tried to charge me again because apparently, I had unknowingly signed up to a membership in order to use them. Despicable behaviour. Don't recommend them at all.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS I was unaware they would trick me into a subscription, then when I realised it took me ages to find a way you cancel the subscription. I only just realised they have still been taking payment for over a year now despite my subscription not being active. When I contacted them they said they have a 90 day policy & dropped the line. They have essentially robbed me for over a year and refuse to pay.

This is a scam of some kind of legal service but not accredited and from the US?! Someone from UK engaged with me. Last month I enquired for something legal. it out myself with a Victorian entity. However, after checking my bank account today, I noticed 2 unknown deductions since November 2025. I need to be refunded for the service I ended and I did not consent this service to deduct any amount looks like an "ongoing fee" who would agree to that? $86.00 deducted twice from my bank without my knowledge nor a previous information before I proceeded to ask!! Shame! Despite my complaint, the 'chatbox' still directed me to fill up a form to seek a lawyer from their end with credit card details it left me to fill up. I DID NOT FILL IT UP AND I LEFT THE CHATBOX.

This is a scam. I paid for a one-off joining fee of $8.00 and they automatically charged my account another $79.00 for a monthly membership that I did not sign up for or agree to. Had I not cancelled my new 'membership,' I would have been charged a monthly fee of $79.00

As others have stated, this is a scam, the clanker told me the fee was 5$ which I paid, then I look in my bank account to see another 30$ billed. Instead of $8, $77.00 has been removed. This appears to be a scam. Very alarming. I contacted company to have a refund and cancel amy account. They cancelled but are not refunding. Total scam. Don’t bother they do not use lawyers from your country or state you are in. Go to a real local lawyer. You will have to change credit cards to stop payments coming out every month. And it’s not $60 it’s $66AUS. My bank have them on a blocked list so they have dealt with them before.

After a password 'reset' I got into my 'membership' and managed to cancel. The membership had my correct email address (marked as ' for notifying me of the monthly charge' but I never received any emails from them. Note, the contact number given to me from my bank was disconnected. On their contact page, the Chat, Phone & Email links all failed. I suspect, when you pose them a question the 'expert' does a google search and then calls themselves a doctor or a mechanic or whatever.

intend to use the service further or not. When I realised, 2 x $55.00 payments later I had taken out an ongoing membership, despite claiming they are committed to exceptional customer service, there is no way to contact JustAnswer to discuss or challenge the membership.
