Rubbish – If you have one, take my advice and throw it away immediately and go buy yourself one thats worth the money. Useless little piece of junk this was, it couldn't even pick up hair I'd have to pick up the hair and other bits and feed it into the mouth of the little bugger. Couldn't wait to throw it away. Show details

Do not buy - total waste of money – I got this vacuum cleaner so I wouldn't have to take the big vacuum cleaner out to my car all the time. It took a few hours to be charged (green light on), took it out to my car and started. I found the cleaner to be TOTALLY USELESS. I went over the carpet numerous times and the only stuff it would pick up was very fine dust...and some fluff. Any… Read more

very small rocks that you could see...wouldn't budge...even bigger bits of fluff, nope. I put the vacuum to my cheek and couldn't feel any suction at all until it was touching - a very minor, weak suction. This unit is a total waste of money and is a rip off. Should not be allowed to be sold.

Absolute rubbish - Never again! – I used this product less than 10 times during a summer 2 years ago and it stopped working. I left it a little longer on the charger and still it did not work. I put it away thinking that I could get it going again in the future. I tried it today and it still does not work. I will never buy a kambrook product again!  Show details

Works well for the price – The flip tip works well once you realize it needs to be pushed in to work. It's quite powerful for how small it is. The filter section clogs very quickly, especially when cleaning up hair. But battery life seems good for two minute spot cleaning. Many other reviews here seem to expect too much for $49AUD Its designed for spot cleaning, not to clean the whole house.  Show details

Unbelievably bad. How can they sell this rubbish? – Almost zero suction. Can't believe I threw away the receipt before testing it :( Worst $50 I ever spent. That'll teach me to not do my research!! And apparently there's a 50 word minimum for posting a review. Where do I leave a bad review for that?! blah blah 50! EDIT: this site asked me to post my receipt to verify my purchase, so I went and looked and I DO still have it! Yay! Ha ha, I take back my bad review for this site :) :) :)  Show details

Underwhelming – Paid $50 for this machine just recently (even though it says "discontinued" why would it still be available in the supermarket down the road? It's main flaw is that it has no suction, as I have thrown out the receipt and box I wonder if the shop will take it back? I should have read some reviews!  Show details

Woolworths took the faulty vacuume back and gave me store credit. Wouldn’t buy another handheld again without trying it first.

Waste of money – I bought this to clean my car as I don't have a power point in the garage it took 1.5 hours to charge however the suction is virtually non-existent, I thought something was wrong no it's useless. I would not recommend & wish I had read these reviews before purchasing.  Show details

The suction was almost non-existent – The suction was no good at all Charged the unit for 24hrs+ before first use as recommended, and decided within two minutes I was going to have to return it Suction seemed slightly worse worse with the built-in nozzle extended Don't waste your time, Kambrook dropped the ball on this one :-(  Show details

frustrating – Bought it on line ,after working well at first till needing a recharge then no red light when recharging, shows green all the time. Then found difficulty with power switch which when switched on does not turn on the machine, was about to bin machine as bought on line when by chance found switch actually works when slid three quarters of the way to… Read more

full on. Its tricky but is now workable beside not knowing if fully charged. The suction however is weak but ideal on a very detailed model railway. Will live with it if no more problems, i find the flip tip ideal, must use the lock button to hold it in a fixed extended position.

Poor – I normally read reviews before purchasing items but i thought this looks good. Wrong. Its light. Its quiet. Its easy to use and charge. But the suction is poor. I thought it would be handy for the garage and picking small crumbs in my car but it barely did that. I had more success brushing crumbs out with my hands.  Show details

Poor design and construction – The button holding the flip nozzle in place fell off the first day. The flip tip nozzle is not stable and moves up and down rendering it's use impossible. Without the nozzle the design makes it impossible to clean unless pointing the vacuum at 90 degrees. I bought this for cleaning lounge chairs which it cannot do. The suction is poor.  Show details

poor extension nozzle – Motor is quite powerful, but design of the extsion nozzle is not good. The nozzle just swings up uselessly when we attempt to use it...yet without it the machine is very short & awkward to use in tight corners etc. To sum up it's poorly designed. Sorry Kambrook, we're not happy.  Show details

It works well enough – For a car vacuum cleaner and the price it works alright. I still haven't used it a lot yet. I have used other name car vacuums. The only way you will do a good clean is with a household vacuum cleaner. It depends on how much dirt etc you are trying to suck up.  Show details

Poor quality. Died just out of warranty – Kambrook used to make pretty good stuff. Not any more it seems. This is a really poor device. The suction is almost non-existent; the design is terrible for small places; the filter falls out of place; it's hard to put on the wall bracket, and worse coming off. I wouldn't normally have bothered to let people know how terrible this cleaner is,… Read more

but when it finally died just a month after the warranty ended, that was the last straw. Paid almost $70 for this useless piece of junk. That'll be the last cent Kambrook ever gets out of me.

Please save your money – I would recommend other potential buyers not to purchase this unit. The unit is a complete waste of money and resources; takes along time to charge, suction is terrible and the flip tip snapped of easily. The unit was brought for small surface areas for example to simply suck up the dust on a lounge. We have called the Kambrook customer line… Read more

whose response was to take it back to the retailer which we are now doing. It was also observed that the customer service officer did not offer to take down a complaint which could have helped with Kambrook's improvement in its design and delivery of products.

In summary, save your money and go elsewhere.

New purchase – I bought one this morning Cost 59.00 at our local Betta Electrical. I thought the price was okay esp.for a brand like Kambrook and not some obscure no name company; till I saw one in our local Woolies this afternoon- $10 cheaper? Used it for a second hand couch I bought which had been in a garage and was very dusty and sandy Seemed to perform… Read more

okay but I was happy to go over the couch a couple of times to get it clean. No problems with the noise.I had a porta-vac a few years ago, cant remember the brand It was extra-ordinarily powerful but too noisey to use even for a couple of minutes.

Was the KHV2000 light and maneuverable yes.

Was the suction good/ I would say average

Must admit these reviews are quite worrying Regards Anne

Terrible – Absolutely terrible. As other reviews have said. Takes ages to charge, heavy, has a useless nozzle which does not seal and is therefore useless. Terrible suction. Complete waste of money. If I could return it I would but I threw out the receipt thinking this was a quality Kambrook product, turns out I was wrong. DO NOT BUY.

Faith in Kambrook gone – Not happy with this unit, the couple of times I used it, it took forever to charge and now doesn't charge at all. I have used/owned many Kambrook products and have been very satisfied with them. I am disappointed and fear that my faith in Kambrook products has been damaged.

Wasted my money – I should have read the reviews first. My 86 year old mother asked my daughter to buy her a dust buster and she (daughter) chose this one for about $70. It's absolutely useless, I tried to vacuum mum's car with it this morning but couldn't pick up anything at all. I can't work out why Kambrook keep selling them. Next step will be customer servicing.

The vacuum didn't hold its charge – I had to take this item back as the charge only lasted a couple of minutes Had no problems from Target getting my money back They didn't have another one in store to replace it. I got another brand that I am happy with I did get a Kambrook soup maker and love it

Pure Rubbish – I bought this secondhand from a garage sale and it is definitely not worth the $5 I paid for it let alone the normal RRP price. Sucks dirt up then just spits it out of the vents. Umm what happened Kambrook? Didn't do any testing before releasing it on the market.

A complete rip-off – Most of all the vacuum power is way too weak for picking up even the smallest dry crumbs and pieces with one sweep-over. You find yourself needing to repeatedly vacuum over the same spots before finally the pieces are drawn into the cleaner. The extension nozzle has nothing to make it lift up slightly when the latch is released. It is also sticky… Read more

when trying to push it into the recess for vacuuming in tight places. It has a very attractive design that suggests this is a very efficient product for what it is supposed to do. The suction-power is totally inadequate.

Terrible – This is the worst DustBuster I have ever had. Suction is poor from such a bulky nose and even with tube out it can't pick up lint. Dirt flies out side holes as there is no filter. Had to make one out of foam to keep dirt in. Sorry, but would not recommend this model. Not worth the money.

Wait to see – There are not many handheld vacs around at a reasonable price. My Breville died after 18 months so I replaced it with this. Seems ok so far but I am a bit concerned as after using for less than 5 minutes it has been charging for a couple of hours, ie red light on. Suction seems fine - it gets up the bird seed from my carpet. Update: I… Read more

have had this now for 2 months. Sucks up birdseed from my carpet and crumbs from tiles which is mainly what I bought it for. The charger however is a stupid design and this morning the charge part came out of the wall bracket and was a nightmare to get back in. Sometimes seems to take along time to recharge (ie red light change to green). My old Breville vac and charger was excellent but as it died after only about 12 months I was reluctant to buy the same again. Would I buy again? - not sure as there doesn't seem to be much around at a lower price range. I love the see-through canister so I can see when it needs emptying. Not keen on the charger plug but seems to work ok

Absolutely terrible! – So disappointed with this unit, it is completely useless. We bought ours for $69.95 and it's a complete waste of money. It has the quality of something bought for $20 or less. The suction is just terrible- don't buy one of these! Hoping to return it and get something at least slightly useful. Wish I'd read the other reviews before we bought this! Terrible suction.

Horrible. Don't waste your money – I have had this machine 3 months. It's suction is terrible and you find you have to re vaccum the area to get the small bits it wouldn't pick up. The flip tip tends to pop out while you are vacuuming which is a pain plus this flip tip for "hard to reach" areas tends to further reduce its ability to suction when you use it as it dosnt have the power to suck things through the nozzle. For $60 it's just not worth it. Easy to empty. Everything else.
