Works OK – The blades need to be sharper to work well. The start button is easy to operate. The blade fit is a bit sloppy and hard to keep straight whilst slicing meat.

Poor performance – Poor performance. Unable to slice our Christmas roasts and ham without making a mess of the meat. It is unable to cut through the crust on a loaf of sourdough bread. Basically this knife is useless and I wouldn't recommend purchase.

Not Happy – I use an electric knife for cutting my home made bread and have done for years. Previous knives (various brands) have been excellent but this one has given nothing but trouble. The first one I purchased the blades didn't fit properly so wouldn't cut. This was replaced by seller but this second one continues to be very difficult to insert and remove the blades and now I can' get them out at all. Would not recommend.

Returned – Cut ok for 7 months but after light use now somehow has meat coming up between the 2 blades when cutting? There doesn't seem to be any bending or bowing of the blades, but it is effectively usless for cutting meat and leaves any meat just shredded into pieces. Returned.

Good for us – This was a good buy. We are very happy that It is lightweight and very easy to use. Does a nice job carving roasts and other meats. Easy to clean and stored in its box for safety. It was a very good buy at just $29 from The Good Guys.

Much better than a sunbeam – After using a sunbeam knife for years it broke. I looked at the reviews and the kambrook came out on top. I thought surely the sunbeam knife can't be that bad so stupidly bought another one. What a mistake. It is cumbersome to use and didn't cut that well. I had a voucher to use at the good guys so I bought a kambrook. It is a pleasure to use it. It is ergonomically easier to use and cuts better as well.

Best knife ever – This knife was the cheapest on the market and yet it is the best electric knife I have ever owned. It slices through my home made bread as if it was butter. It is also very easy to hold. Just love this knife.

Worthless product – Bought knife for Christmas carving. Blades kept separating with meat getting stuck between. Used many other brand electric knives so I know how they are supposed to work. Had to use old style carving knife.

Not a good machine – Have a electric knife from the 1980s still works but a little tired .. Decided to update to a new model decided to buy this one has worked for about 10 roast cuts then nothing .. Not happy as the old model has done 100s of cuts and still works Waste of money should have done product review first for the best model to buy. This isn't the best

Electric breadknife does the job and not expensive – I bought the Kambrook electric breadknife with some trepidation as it was the cheapest one on the shelf. Having read mostly negative reviews on all brands of electric breadknives, I figured if I bought the cheapest ($30, The Good Guys) and it didn't work well, I hadn't wasted too much money. Much to my surprise, it works fine, we've been using it… Read more

daily since I bought in Dec 2015 and it does a good job of cutting our homemade bread (far better than the very expensive Mundial bread knife that I bought). You need to make sure that the two cutting blades are kept clean - fresh bread tends to stick and accumulate on the knife blades, which can interfere with the blade movement and result in poor cutting.
