Appalling work – Great at the beginning I was told 3days to finish the job then he wanted cash deposit which I foolishly paid after 4th day and had alot of problems getting them to finish. Which they didn’t so many promises lots of emails and calls to get them to come finish and lots of lies.Then we were tod it would be extra costs on front facia which was supposed to be included.My husband ended up fixing the rotten front facia because they wanted us to pay extra for their carpenter which is supposed to be included in the quote .The owner is a scammer. Please beware of this company. Do not hire them. We hired a roofer to inspect the work he was shocked that most of the work was unfinished and poorly done .It will cost me $3000 to get my roof and paint on tiles up to standard

Absolutely shafters – Quote sounded ok. Not the cheapest. Not the dearest. Was told you get what you pay for!! They further damaged my roof. Didn't fix the initial leak and I had to get another company in to replace the ENTIRE roof from the initial leak. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Shonks – Initially seemed nice and sincere people. After doing roof tile leak repairs which I thought were expensive, the roof still leaks in both places. Two promises over the phone to come back and have a look at a specified day & time, but no one turned up on both occasions. Five phone calls to their office over 2 weeks and no one returned calls. They specialise in a lot of slick sales talk but very superficial work. Get a real professional.

Terrible job – I found out about Kangaroofing and Guttering (K&G) from a letter box pamphlet. They quoted a reasonable price for two jobs and wanted a deposit. (Foolishly I paid it.) They started one job. I had to go to work but they called me at work and told me a lot of the timbers were rotten and needed replacing. They issued another quote to fix the timbers and wanted more deposit. When I got home I found they had left broken tiles with no tarp to protect against the rain. Moreover the timbers were fine, only the battens needed replacing. I was shocked with the lack of professionalism. I would have quit then but I had paid a sizable deposit and didn't want to lose it. Anyway I got them to work only on the job they started and cancelled the second job. K&G contracted a carpenter to fix the timbers. He did a good job. But then K&G asked me to pay the carpenter. I refused. They took two days to finish the job and wanted cash payment after the first day. The last day was a joke. They attached the PVC roof sheets in the valleys of the corrugation and didn't put enough screws in so the sheets flap in the wind. When I pointed out their mistake they got very defensive.

They wanted more money for finishing the job. I refused. I now have a roof that leaks, and I will have to get it redone. I have lost several thousand dollars. It makes me sad and upset. The whole experience was very unpleasant. I hope others can avoid my experience.
