Shocking Battery Life! – I’ve had 4 Kindle Voyage E- Readers and in all cases the Battery Failed either during the warranty period, or just outside of it! the device. My last Kindle was only 4 months out of warranty but Amazon refused to replace it!
This product is not fit for purpose and I will never deal with Amazon again.
My little friend that goes everywhere with me – Ok...it's expensive. I got it on special for $269. You can turn pages by touching the screen or the tactile buttons on the side. The screen is easy to clean. Dictionary… Read more
look-ups, making notes and highlights and earmarks are easy. The not so good bits: The screen varies in colour just slightly from top to bottom. It doesn't have 3G, just wi-fi. The clarity is not that much better than my old Kindle Keyboard (a brilliant piece of kit). It doesn't have text-to-speech (the Kindle Keyboard does). Battery life is OK but nothing outstanding. The autoadjusting backlight sometimes doesn't work.
Overall, I wouldn't bother spending the extra for a Voyage. If I had my time over, I'd buy a top line Paperwhite instead.
