King Sims

Visited Hawaii & mainland US and paid for a SIM before arrival, activated the card as instructed, got a local number but phone wouldn't connect to phone service or internet. Rang T-Mobile helpline to troubleshoot using hotel wifi and the helper tried to authenticate me by sending a code multiple times but I never received it. Further… Read more
troubleshooting by helper revealed the phone number I received was a secondary phone number, not the primary number of the account so they could not authenticate me, thus cannot help further. Spent the following 3 hours using online chat to some help person at King Sims trying to sort out what the issue was but to no avail. Never offered to refund the SIM. Out of desperation, went to a physical T-Mobile store to seek help. They figured out what the issue was within 2 minutes and offered a workaround but I had the pay for a new SIM to open up my own account with T-Mobile. Lesson from the trip: Buy a local SIM when you're there - maybe a little inconvenient to get to a local store but a helpful physical person is so much better than the frustration with King Sims.
I have use king sims 3 times now and this will be the last. They seem to work ok if you are only travelling to one country. Even then you may have to contact support to get your actual sim card to work. They say the Asia card works in all countries, and e-mailed us before we left to ask which countries we are visiting. Every time we have changed… Read more
countries, we have to waste precious holiday time by contacting their support to get us connected. Even then, support treats us as though we are st^pid, telling us to turn on and off again, turn plane mode on and off - as if we haven't already tried that before contacting them. Same thing happened when we bought the usa/mexico/canada sim. Do not waste your time or your money. Get a sim from elsewhere.
Bought a 15 day usa sim card, which got delivere quickly. Landed in los angeles, turned on the phone and in less than a minute i had my new USA number and the sim card was working perfectly. No trouble with it at all, during my trip
Total waste of money and time – Purchased an Esim that could not be activated and after numerous emails over a day and half Kings stopped responding and I was left out of pocket and without a working Esim. Stay well away. Poor customer service and a scam.
Avoid - scam operators – Customer service just ignores all emails, avoid at all costs
SCAM SCAM SCAM – Paid $125 for two sims. When I arrived in America. Both sims didn’t work. Contacted king sims they replied once with steps to follow which I did. When I emailed to advise steps were unsuccessful they stopped replying to my emails. STAY AWAY.
Theives – Bought a sim which I never received. They said they would send a refund and never did. Now don’t even respond to emails. Stay away!
How to wreck a holiday – Terrible experience with the 15 day King Sim I purchased. Was 2 weeks in Hawaii. Could not get the sim to perform, ended up using the free WiFi at the hotel, but when we were not at the hotel nothing. Had numerous texts with King Sim, even had to ring and talk with Tmobile. They reckon my Oppo phone had to be reset or was locked but neither was… Read more
the case. I was supposed to be on holiday not spending hours with King Sim or Tmobile to get some data. No offers from them to give me a credit. Just gave up in the end and put it down to a bad experience.
Fantastic service – Just want to give a huge thumbs up to King Sims. This is the second time l have purchased from them. First time was for Hawaii and second was for Vietnam. When l ordered for Hawaii, l made a mistake on my order, contacted the company and they fixed it up immediately for me. My order for Vietnam was correct, however we had an issue with… Read more
connection. They were absolutely fantastic in working to quickly fixing our problem and helping us.
Truly happy to recommend this service
Sim failed to work. Won’t refund money, been ghosted! Avoid – Sim failed to work. Won’t refund money, been ghosted! Avoid
Avoid - Sims don’t work as advertised and poor customer service – Purchased a 60 day sim for Europe as was only traveling to countries listed. Sim did not work in some countries without significant changes to phone settings. The roaming was advertised as seamless. The 12gb data for the second 30 days was supposed to be recharged but it never happened and didn’t work after 30 days. Customer service responded… Read more
with contradictory statements and wouldn’t acknowledge the issues. They claimed that all data had been used when clearly the data had not been recharged.
They were also very slow to respond.when contacted for support.
There are other suppliers of SIM cards. Use them and not these people
Buyer Beware – I had the misfortune to purchase a King Sim for my USA Trip in June 2023. Due to illness I couldn't travel. I contacted King Sim via Messenger to let them know of my situation but no one replied to my message. I have since been in contact again & was advised I could not receive a refund as my Sim card had been activated. At no time did I authorise… Read more
King Sim to activate my Sim. I have tried numerous ways to explain this but now they have stopped responding to my messages. The last message I received from King Sim via Messenger advised my case would be handed to the Manager who would contact me soon. That was more than 24 hours ago & I'm still waiting for the Manager to contact me. People don't waste your money, do some due diligence as there are a lot better international plans to be had. I'm sorry I ever purchased my useless King Sim from them.
Lana at King Sims sorted out my phone – Landed in the USA and had an initial issue with T3 not activating my QR code. I went onto the chat window and Lana from King Sims sorted it all out in no time with T3. Lana was on the chat window throughout the whole time. Phone calls and internet is working great! Feeling happy to be connected again :-)

Not a great experience – Have had three major issues with my purchase. Two were resolved by customer service but time on holiday wasted and extra expenses incurred when couldn’t use Uber app as no service. Didn’t receive one physical sim ordered but was rectified subsequently with an Esim. USA and Canada sim didn’t actually work in Canada. Offered a discount if bought a… Read more
new Canadian sim. Europe 60 day sim stopped working after 30 days. As mentioned customer service were helpful but frustrating had to even contact them.
Terrible, This does not work. Stay away from this – I bought a SIM which is supposed to work in both UK and Europe. I have activated the SIM in the UK. When I went to Europe, it stopped working. I am trying to contact the provider "Three" and they said it is on hold and I need to provide a copy of the document with the UK residential address. I keep saying that I am from Australia and bought this… Read more
SIM from Australia and I am travelling. They keep asking for this information. I informed King Sim about this. After a week they provide an E-sim, and it worked for only one day. I have spent hrs during my tour to sort this out and it is a waste. This is a scam and stay away from this.
The best Sim for Travel – I have used these Sim Cards 3 times now for overseas travel in USA, New Zealand, Mexico and Bali. Wouldn't travel without them. Hassle free, before getting off the plane they are working. Fabulous product!
False advertising, sim doesn’t work, crap customer service – Their customer service is absolutely useless, they go back on what they say and false advertise. The sim I got didn’t work for half of my trip even though it says it works in the countries I went to. Their customer service team kept lying to me. Save the stress and go elsewhere.
Horrible Experience – This didn't work for me at all. The first couple of days on my holiday instead of enjoying it I was trying to sort it out and I felt like I was being sent on a wild goose chase, I think I spent more on uber fares than I paid for the sim. As soon as I put the sim into my phone it locked my phone and I couldn't even use my wi-fi, lucky my husband… Read more
had his phone that I could use. Cricket was the service provider over there and they advised me that the sim wouldn't work in my phone as it was an older phone. I was promised a refund from them as I couldn't use the service that they provided and I had to purchase another sim over in the USA, I am still waiting on the refund and this was promised in August. I definitely wouldn't recommend King Sims and I will not be purchasing another sim from them.
Dreadful Customer Service – When I ordered my Sim (a 30 day US) I checked that the phone we would be using was compatible and there would be no issues. I was assured multiple times that it would be. When the sim arrived it wasn't the promised T Mobile but a Cricket one - on receipt I asked and had confirmed again that the Sim would work - when we landed in the US popped the… Read more
sim in and nothing - found some free wi-fi and contacted King Sims who basically said oh well oops - they asked if I wanted a refund and two months later I'm still waiting for my money back. DO NOT TRUST them - there are a million places when you get to the States where you can get a sim that WILL work. Disgusted with the lack of service provided
Appalling customer service – USA 45 day SIM card did not work upon entry to the USA. Customer service response time varies from a few days to a month. Refund promised but never received.
